Anita's Hideaway is part of Angell's Fishing & Hunting Outfitting Resort. We are your complete outfitter - A fishing trip, a hunting experience, a family vacation and a canoeing adventure! The Angell Family has served Fishermen and Hunters for over 50 years.

We have a fleet of 16’ aluminum Grumman canoes, which are stable, quite fast and easy to paddle. We can deliver the canoes to various drop off points to start your trip off right. Or we can ferry your vehicles or canoes where ever you desire. Paddle the historic water routes of the fur traders, voyageurs and explorers like Alexander Henry, the Frobosher Brothers, Kelsey and others. On any of these trips you will enjoy the picturesque beauties of Canada’s pristine wilderness while exploring historic fur trading water routes. You will see fantastic sunsets, Northern Lights and listen to loons while you are relaxing your aching muscles around the campfire at night. Along the way expect to watch beavers, otters, muskrats, moose, bear, birds and abundant waterfowl. For levels of difficulty, maps, and other information get in touch with us. Location

We are 19 km (12 miles) SW of Flin Flon, Manitoba at Denare Beach, Saskatchewan. Angell’s Outfitting is located at Denare Beach on scenic Amisk Lake (Beaver Lake as the locals call it). The north two thirds of the Lake is in the Precambrian Shield, with all the beauty of the shield at your doorstep. The southern third is sedimentary rocks of the north shore of ancient Lake Aggassis. With some of the oldest rock formations in North America, it is a geologists dream laboratory. The rocks are covered with red, orange and red lichen, giving Amisk Lake great scenic character. You will see true hydroponics where trees grow out of cracks in the rocks. The lakes, trees, rocks and sand beaches make Amisk Lake a scenic, restful and relaxing place, adding to the enjoyment of fishing, hunting, canoeing and vacationing in the area.

Flin Flon receives daily air services departing from the International Airport at Winnipeg, Manitoba with connections to anywhere in North America. The Flin Flon Airport has full facilities and a 5000 ft paved runway. Airport pickups can be arranged.

Fishing
In September it’s not impossible to catch 50 Walleye in an hour jigging with a lead head and minnow in the walleye holes at the river. It is exhilarating when fishing in the crisp fall air surrounded with the breathtaking colours of fall. In the spring you do just as well catching walleye in the shallow bays. In the summer they seek the cooler deeper waters and feed off the banks and underwater reefs of the lake. You catch them with bottom bouncers, worms, crank baits, and other fish teasers. We have all the facilities to get you fishing: A marina and bait shop with an excellent stock of fishing tackle, bait, maps, gas, oil, fishing licenses and a walk in freezer. Many of our guests save their filleting knives for Gerry Angell to put a professional razor sharp edge on them (bandage is included). Fillet your fish on our clean, stainless steel filleting table. Well maintained boats and motors of all sizes may be rented. The Marina also contains motor parts and repairs. Boat launching is free. We have marina boat slips for overnight water parking upon request. Anyone who would like to fly out fishing in a float plane for a day of fishing on a remote lake can do so! We have boats and motors on three lakes for your use, Wildnest Lake is well known for excellent Walleye and Northern fishing, Errington lake for its' abundant lake trout, and Neagle Lake for Northerns. Bear Hunts
A bear hunt in the Canadian Wilderness is not as costly as you may think! Angell’s will book you a bear hunt of your dreams and you would be hunting for your black, brown, cinnamon or even blonde bear from baited bear stands in Northern Saskatchewan.
