Welcome to Sugar Ridge. It is our mission to promote personal health on all levels, which in turn, will foster community health. To make the world a healthier place, we must first heal ourselves, one aspect at a time. Sugar Ridge is a place to get started on that path, or deepen your journey.

Private Cabins – Enjoy a private cabin at the retreat centre. Each of the ten cabins accommodates up to 4 people in either a double bed and 2 twin beds or four twin beds. Wilderness cabins near Midland, Ontario are perfect for a natural experience. Each of our ten cabins are nestled in the woods surrounding the retreat centre. Perfect for a nature retreat, the cabins can accommodate up to 4 people with either 4 twin beds or one double and 2 twin beds. Don't be surprised to see a deer walk by your window, or rabbits playing tag. Washroom facilities are located in the main retreat centre, a 10 second walk from each cabin.

B&B – Three rooms are available in the B&B of Sugar Ridge. Start each day soaking up the stunning view of Georgian Bay and the Wye Marsh while you relax to a wholesome breakfast. You can explore some of the best hiking and skiing trails in the area or perhaps you would prefer to stretch your mind and body with a yoga class. In spring enjoy our fully operational sugar shack or relax on a hot summer day poolside. Sugar Ridge Bed & Breakfast offers three guest rooms: one queen and one twin with shared guest bathrooms as well as a lovely suite with a queen bed and a 2-pce ensuite. The sitting area offers a stunning view and wonderful place to enjoy a cup of tea and watch the birds.

Groups
Here at Sugar Ridge we can accommodate up to 40 people in the ten cabins of the retreat centre. No group is too small. Smaller groups of 8 or less may also be accommodated at the B&B. There is a yoga studio, large dining room and a sunroom available for your meeting or classes.

Group
We are located only 90 minutes north of Toronto, close to Midland, Ontario. Your retreat participants will have an opportunity to reconnect with nature and its beauty at Sugar Ridge. The 150 acres of lush meadows, majestic forests and rolling hills is an ideal setting for any retreat. You will enjoy stunning views of the Wye Marsh and Georgian Bay at any time of year while hiking the trails of the property.

Our fully accessible retreat centre was designed to accommodate the needs of participants and facilitators. Our accommodations in comfy cabins in the woods offer a retreat on their own. Two cabins are fully accessible. The beds are comfortable, the duvets are snuggly and each one has it's own unique view of the forest. The studio is comfortable for 25 - 30 people for yoga or 50 for sitting meditation or workshop/ meeting. participants. This centre has a grand hall, a dining hall, lounge with double sided fireplace and a large commercial kitchen, serving up yummy, organic vegetarian meals.

Looking for a place to get some needed R&R? A few days with a stack of books and a comfy bed are waiting for you. Whether you want to deepen your personal meditation practice or just sleep deeply, we will cater to your needs. Open four seasons, you will find a uniqueness to every visit with an abundance of outdoor activities on the property and in the area.

If you want to fast we will nourish you in other ways. If you are fasting we ask that you check in with us once a day to see how you’re doing. Juice fasting or other cleanses are also options for your stay. We will not recommend what you should do but rather we will follow the dietary guidelines you provide us. Sugar Ridge offers a variety of retreats and events throughout the year which you are welcome to join.

Individual Unit Description

Sugar Ridge Bed & Breakfast offers three guest rooms: one queen and one twin with shared guest bathrooms as well as a lovely suite with a queen bed and a 2-pce ensuite. The cabins can accommodate up to 4 people with either 4 twin beds or one double and 2 twin beds.

Shared hostel accommodation is also available at the retreat centre in cabins. Up to 4 people can share a cabin. Rates are applied at the time of booking. If you are travelling alone you can shift to shared accommodation if there is another hostel guest here at the same time who wants to share. Please indicate your willingness to share accommodation at the time of booking.
