Everyone has their own style and preference when it comes to their vacation. Here at Lost Island Lodge we try to accommodate everyone.
American Plan
Leave the cooking to us. Enjoy having your meals with us in the Lodge. Breakfast and supper are served in our dining room. We will pack you a shore lunch kit with everything you will need to enjoy a great meal of your fresh caught walleye. Daily maid service is provided for our American Plan guests.
Housekeeping Plan
You're the chef. Cook your favorite recipes in your cabin or be a Grill Master at the BBQ.
Fresh towels are provided daily
Modified Plan
Best of both worlds. Sleep in or get an early start on the day. You take care of breakfast and lunch. Then join us in the Lodge for one of Vivian’s fabulous suppers followed by a homemade dessert that you will not want to miss.
Daily rate for those with own boats.

At Shane’s Canadian Hunts we have generations of hunting experience and most importantly Large Whitetail Bucks! I started guiding with my Father when I was only a teenager. Back then we were the only Outfitter in the area providing Trophy Whitetail Hunts. In those days the winters were much harsher and the deer herds sometimes would suffer because of it. Today and in recent years with more moderate winters, the deer herd has increased dramatically. This has also allowed for a greater survival rate of these Monster Ontario Whitetail Deer.
This Whitetail Deer Hunt takes place in late November, early December when most other hunters have retired for the season. For many Big Snow Bucks, this will be the last dance and then the party is over and the girls are going home for another year. It’s only the biggest and strongest of Studs which have made it to this, the Final Dance!
Fishing & Boats
Walleye in abundance are a daily occurrence whether it be spring, summer or fall. Northern fishing is excellent all summer long, August and September are better for Bass. While Lac Seul is not known for large numbers of musky, it has produced some of the world’s largest fresh water trophies.
Lac Seul is approximately 100 miles long with more than 700 square miles of water. The natural beauty of this lake is spectacular. There are thousands of miles of shore line, hundreds of islands and reefs too numerous to count. There is always somewhere new to fish or explore and discover new "favourite spots".
BOAT RENTALS 16 ft. & 18 ft. boats with 50 h.p. motor, swivel seats, carpeted floor,life jackets landing net, bait bucket, depth finder,emergency kit and the all important measuring board. . Gas, Mixing Oil and live bait is always available at camp.

A white and red pine covered island . All cabins are next to the water . Large main dock out of the wind for your boat and our boats.

Individual Cottage Description
All cabins are sheltered among towering pine trees with an excellent view of the lake. You will find your cabin clean, modern and comfortable. Fully equipped for housekeeping, it has a full compliment of linens, electric refrigerator, propane range, propane furnace, running water and bath facilities. You are sure to enjoy the sun decks or screened in porches.

YOUTH RATES: Under 16 years, deduct $200.00 from all Package Plans.
AMERICAN PLAN PACKAGE: Includes cabin, all meals, boats, motors, ALL gas , daily maid service & boat trip in and out of camp from landing.
MODIFIED AMERICAN PLAN PACKAGE: Includes cabin, evening meals, boats, motors, ALL GAS, daily maid service, & boat trip in and out of camp from landing.
HOUSEKEEPING PACKAGE: Includes cabin, boats, motors, ALL GAS & boat trip in and out of camp from landing.
Daily rate , $ 85.00 per/night Youth $60.00 per/night.
Deposit is only $150.00 per/person .

Lost Island Lodge Deer Huntings
He did not come close to meeting the terms of our agreement. He was to take us to Loon Haught Lake for a deer hunt, He took us to Pipestone Lake near his main hunting lodge. It was easy for him, he put us up in a run down fish camp away from his other hunters. You had the feeling you were sucking hind tit and being hidden from his other hunters. We repeatedly told him we wanted to go to Loon Haught Lake, he refused. Weather was not an issue, there was no ice forming. He just took advantage of us. We pulled out after three days. Remember, there is an endless suppy of us suckers from the lower 48. I thought I did my homework.
