Welcome to our oasis in the beautiful Haliburton Highlands. Relax and enjoy the warm, friendly atmosphere and peaceful surroundings of our bed and breakfast accommodations. At Lady Esther Day Spa & Bed and Breakfast you will enjoy the all the charm of the country, just a two hour drive from Toronto. If you are looking for a cozy, intimate bed and breakfast, day spa or healing retreat where your privacy is assured; then look no further. We have been open for 11 years. Each of our tastefully decorated guest rooms has a private bath or ensuite and includes amenities such as luxurious bedding, fluffy towels and bathrobes, fragrant soaps and shampoo, TV/VCR/DVD player and coffee maker. Each morning, Bed and Breakfast guests are treated to a delicious full buffet breakfast.

Perfect for a weekend vacation, romantic getaway or couples retreat, come to Lady Esther’s for a night or stay longer. B & B guests are encouraged to explore our 130 acre property, with its working farm and many wilderness trails - perfect for hiking, mountain biking, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing. In addition, we offer our pampering massage and spa treatments that are sure to make your stay most memorable.

Meals At Lady Esther

We provide a sumputuous Buffet Breakfast daily which includes fresh fruit, pastries, cereals, yogurt, hot entree, tea/coffee, juice, and toast.

Special dietary considerations can be accommodated but please be sure to indicate your particular needs at time of booking.

Tea, Coffee and Bottled Water are always available through out the day or evening.

Individual Unit Description

Our 5 year old Bed & Breakfast has 4 rooms available. We offer two rooms with a private bath and two rooms with ensuite. Each room is decorated in a different port of call destination theme. Wireless internet is now available for our bed and breakfast guests.

Far East Ensuite room features a queen size pillow top bed. The ensuite bathroom has a shower with steam unit and there is a Jacuzzi right in the room. A large picture window at the foot of the bed allows you to awaken to views of the forest and cornfields and a chance for wildlife sightings and an electric fireplace will help keep you cozy on those cool country evenings.

The new room is called the Oasis Ensuite and features a king size bed, sitting area with a couch that pulls out into a queen size bed, a Jueliette high back claw foot soaker tub and satellite tv.

Our Down East room features a queen size and two twin beds with a Maritime decor and a new private luxury bath with hydro massage tub and separate sit-in shower with additional shower hand spray.

Our African Room features two Double beds with an exotic African decor and a full private bathroom.
