This beautiful log cottage is nestled on the scenic shore of Go Home Lake in the Muskokas, just off Hwy 400 and Road 32. Travel time is 45 minutes from Barrie and under 2 hours from Toronto. The cottage features year round access with parking for up to five cars. While the lake is called Go Home, once you explore its natural beauty you will definitley want to stay. The lake boasts many different bays, waterfalls, public beach and a portage into Georgian bay. Fishing is excellent with some bays being left natural without cottages. However fishing and swimming off our own dock area is among the best. This solidly constructed log cottage is winterized for enjoyment of all four seasons and we have shared many family events in its idyllic setting including nearby skiing, skating and on site tobogganing.

Our shoreline is sandy, with a gradual depth on one side and sandy beach. The other side is deeper, great for rock jumping and all water sports. We have a raft, floating fun station and a new 1200 sq ft dock complete with canopy. A separate floating dock also has an 8 foot high jumping platform enjoyed by all the kids. Included are 3 canoes, 4 kayaks, paddle boat and a 12 foot aluminum boat, all for optimum enjoyment.

The structure is a new 3 bedroom log cottage with heavy timber construction, pine floors, central vacuum and beautiful ceiling fans and lighting. The cottage has a 4 piece bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen complete with dishwasher and modern appliances. The living room has a wood stove, leather furniture, 32 inch LED TV with satellite, DVD player, and a stereo with an iPod dock. New Paddle boat 2012, new bbq 2012

The property is situated on 4 acres, 570 feet of shoreline and is surrounded by crown land and complete privacy.

The master bed has a king iron bed as well as a double iron bed, covered balcony and skylights. The second bedroom has a double iron bed, and the third bedroom has a double iron with a built in single bed. The cozy separate bunkhouse has a full walnut bedroom suite including two single beds, TV, DVD, ceiling fan and deck. It's a great spot for the older kids.
