"NOW OPEN IN WINTER," Minaki Marina offers a "one stop shopping" experience, including our new LCBO Agency Store. We have 3 motel rooms and a cabin rental. Each motel room is air conditioned/heated, two double beds, full bath, bar fridge, microwave, coffee maker, satellite tv, wireless internet, bbq, and a fabulous view overlooking Gunn Lake. The cabin, available year round, and has the same fabulous view, is fully equipped with full appliances, pots/pans, dishes, cutlery, microwave, coffee maker, linens, towels, satellite tv and access to wireless internet. Whether staying in the rooms or cabin if you bring your own boat launching, docking (power if required), vehicle and trailer parking is all included in your rate. Plenty of space for snowmobiles!! The Marina store has "premium gas", liquor, wine and beer, groceries, pop, snacks, ice, water, fishing and hunting licenses, live bait, tackle, fishing equipment (St. Croix dealer), lake maps, coin laundry, boat rentals (17.5 Lund Outfitters with 50hp Yamaha 4 stroke motors) and everything else to help with your vacation. We have a full service marine repair shop with two licensed mechanics on duty 6 days a week to help keep you on the water. If you don't want to drag your boat home we have summer and winter storage as well. Leave it with us and we will take care of everything.

Long Term Accommodations

Minaki Marina motel rooms and cabin rentals are great for a long term rental. For those that have to work in the area can cut travel time in half at the same time enjoy the experience of living on the water. After a hard day of work take one of our boats and go fishing for a couple of hours, there's nothing like it!!

Waterfront Description & Nearby Activities

Minaki Marina rooms and cabin overlook Gunn Lake which is part of the fabulous Winnipeg River System. The System covers 45 miles of waterway featuring some of the best fishing in NW Ontario and the best part there are no portages unless you want to really get into the wilderness! Enjoy an incredible sunrise or a breathtaking full moon shining down on the bay. There are hiking and biking trails in the area and take the family on a hot day to Big Sand Lake beach. There are so many areas to discover on the waterways and guides can be arranged for you to get the most of the Winnipeg River experience.

Additional Bedroom Information

Minaki Marina motel rooms have two double beds and if required a cot can be added at no additional cost. The cabin has 5 single beds and one double and a cot can be added.

Optional: if no vacancy on preferred dates arrangements can be made for accommodations at our sister location, 5 minutes away at Birch Island Resort.

House Rules

A 50% deposit is required for cabin reservations and credit card to secure room reservations. All balances to be paid upon check in. Cash, Debit, Visa or Mastercard are accepted. Check in and check out times are flexible.

Cancellation Policy

Cabin cancellations must be received 30 days prior to check in and room cancellations 48 hours prior to check in. Deposit refunds will be provided only if a replacement booking is secured. Deposits can be transferred to alternate dates.
