Built in 1858, this is an Historical Building in the Lovely Hamlet of Kilsyth just 10 minutes South/West of downtown Owen Sound. Boasting Country Charm and Character, this quaint Inn is attached to a Cafe/Bakery where home-made pastries, daily food specials, brunch and lunch and something to munch entrees, plus a whole lot more are made from scratch right here on the premises every day..
Guests enjoy delicious home-cooked huge country Kelly sized breakfasts, such as awesome omelettes, pancakes, the breakfast club, fresh fruit bowls etc. that will fill you up for the morning and beyond. Enjoy home made lunches in the Cafe, or prearrange for a delicious home-made supper that will surpass all expectations of pure euphoria. Served privately so our guests have our full attention, full course country meals with a gourmet flair please the pallet, starting with home made soups and salads, then main course, beverages and of course a variety of home made desserts.
5 bedrooms with luxurious comfortable beds draped with high quality duvets and topped with cushy feather pillows to give the most comfortable sleep possible. The west wing has family rooms, housing more than 1 bed to accommodate families and groups, while the east wing is warm and inviting for adults, decorated in tradition with the era of the building when first built. Very comfortable and inviting, each room has it's own character. A full size, fully equipped kitchen and dining area for guests only, along with 2 living room sitting areas with satellite tv and high speed internet for convenience to our cyber guests. A relaxing traditional sauna and hot tub run outside all year and are quite invigorating in the winter months, and relaxing in the summer months.

Attached to a bright beautiful Cafe/Bake shop where all baking and specialty foods are made from scratch daily on the premises.

Enjoy the Night's endless stars while sitting in the hot tub, or around the blazing bon fire pit, ready with your marshmallows to toast.Go into the sauna for a wonderful relaxing cleansing treat, or just enjoy the beautiful gardens while barbequing in the gorgeous back yard by the screened gazebo. Kelly's is the complete package. A large back double lot completely landscaped with pathways, gardens, statues and a lovely big wooden gazebo pretty enough to get married in. An area ready for weddings, anniversaries, family reunions or company picnics. Whatever the occasion, we have a beautiful large area for full enjoyment and relaxation. We even have a beautiful classic Mercedes Benz for the Bride and Groom to take pictures or to transport the bride to the special event.
Families welcome with children. Our Missionary Bed room has sleeping for 5 with queen, double and single bed. Our White Bed Room has sleeping for 3 with queen and daybed. We also have a playpen for baby bed available along with two blow-up cots. The dining room table is large, will seat 8 and is great for playing any of the various board and card games we have on hand for our guests. There are bedtime story books for children along with some wonderful soft stuffed animals to cuddle at night, or while watching cartoons first thing in the morning before coming down to their specially make flower or clown face fresh fruit plates. Guest can eat anything off our great menu which is all prepared fresh when ordered. Healthy, great tasting, and a large portion to satisfy even the hungriest of person, seconds available at anytime, as we don't want anyone to say they left here hungry, and they won't.

Centrally located, in the Grey Bruce area, we are close to many attractions such as Sauble Beach, Bruce Trail, Waterfall Tours, Keady Farmers Market, Kelso Beach, Caves, Storybook Park, museums, boating, art galleries, theaters, tours, chi chi man boat cruise and only 10 minutes to down town Owen Sound. Shopping of every kind is near by, if you are looking for clothes, summer or winter pleasure toys such as boats for summer or snowmobiles for winter, or antiques or mennonite furniture or crafts, one of a kind items, there are a lot of places to go. We carry a variety of maps, places of interest and local free papers on town happenings to keep our vacationers well informed of events and directions. All year round activities in this area make it perfect for the enthusiast of any kind. In the winter there is cross country skiing, snow shoeing, snowmobiling, skating, ice fishing, winter carnivals with many events plus more. In the summer there is swimming, boating, hiking, biking, camping, sightseeing, cliff scaling, scuba diving, para sailing, plus many summer events to attend. An old time drive-in theater is within 10 minutes from us, along with a regular cinema for the latest in movies. The beaches and along the shore line all the way up the bruce offer the most spectacular sunsets you have ever seen, the cleanest beach in sauble beach, breath taking waterfalls and grottos that can't be matched anywhere else in the world. We have it all up here and within minutes from Kelly's Inn, Meaford, Thornbury, Collingwood, Wasaga Beach to the East, South Hampton, Port Elgin, McGregors Point to the West, Owen Sound, Wiarton, Sauble Beach, Tobermory to the north and we are right in the middle of it all.

Individual Unit Description

Clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated rooms for customer's enjoyment and relaxation . The Kelly's Living Quarters are totally separate from Guest Area, including washrooms. Our pets are also kept in a different area, totally away from guests.

We have 5 Beautifully decorated bedrooms, all very comfortable and clean, which include:

1 beautiful Queen size Bed in an Extra Large Room with 4 poster antique double bed and a single bed for room to accommodate up to 5 people
1 Beautiful Queen Size Bed in Large Comfy Room with Day bed for 1 extra person
1 Beautiful Queen Size Bed and futon in Large Bright Room with walk-in closet
1 Double Antique Brass Bed in a Mid- Size Beautiful Olde Style Bedroomwith walk-in closet
1 Single Mates Bed in a Cozy Room (perfect for the one nighter or child)
2 Spare Cots for extra family members, 1 fold n' go playpen/bed for baby
2 Shared Bathrooms
2 common area Living Room/Sitting Rooms with Sat. T.V.s,
1 common Fully Equipped Kitchen for Self-Catering Meals for the Gourmet Chef and a common Dining area with seating for up to 8.

At all times self-serve coffee, tea water etc are always available to our guests.

Breakfasts served from 7:30 am to 9:30 am. Just wander down to the store and choose your breakfast from a wide variety of delicious items ranging from cereals to fruit bowls and home made breakfast pastries to hearty large omelettes filled with your favorite ingredients. Everything made from scratch fresh to suit all guests from the vegetarian to the full fledged meat eater, we have it all.
