The property n the southwest side of Peninsula Lake, about 20 minutes to Huntsville, 12 minutes to Dwight, 30 minutes to Algonquin Park or Arrowhead Prov. Park. It has natural vegetation of beautiful birch and maples with ferns and wildflowers. There is a path to the waterfront, with a sandy beach that is great for the children, and a large dock with muskoka chairs. Deerhurst Inn and Hidden Valley are across the lake. It is close to world class golfing at Mark O'Meara and Deerhust Highlands, and lots of fine dining and shopping. Boat to Fairy Lake, Huntsville, Lake Vernon, or down the Mary River through the locks to Mary Lake and Port Sydney.

Waterfront Description & Nearby Activities

The water is shallow to the end of the dock and the swim raft provides a location for deep water swimming - no weeds. Take the 2 mountain bikes out for a ride over to South Portage on Lake of Bays, take the cedar strip canoe out for a paddle into Wolf Bay or just laze in the hammock. For entertainment on rainy days, there's HD satellite TV, stereo, dvd players. A classic antique Peterborough cedar strip 16 foot fisherman with 9.9 hp can be negotiated as an extra.

This 1,100 sq. ft. 3 bedroom cottage and bunkie has lots of character - the interior is mostly knotty pine and the floors are cherry, providing a warm and comfortable ambiance. The living room features large windows on 2 sides and a wood burning fireplace (and a woodstove) to take the chill out of the spring and fall evenings. The screened porch is surrounded by a deck and makes an ideal spot for a snack or a game of cards, while providing a view of the lake.
