Dwyer's Farmhouse is a very unique farm experience for your family. The century old farmhouse is rented out exclusively to you. Bring the family and stay on a working farm...and have the place to yourself! Don't forget to feed the hens and gather the fresh eggs for your breakfast. Cuddle the barn kittens and treat the work horses to an apple or carrot. Pick some fresh produce from the garden. Relax and watch the cattle graze or spend the day exploring the Ottawa Valley. When evening comes you can roast a marshmallow on the bonfire and gaze at the stars. Then settle in for the night in Dwyer's Farmhouse. It will be just like the sleepovers you used to have at Grandma's farm. Your children will cherish the memories and want to come back to stay again and again.

Farm Stay

Dwyer's Farmhouse is an actual working farm. You will have some chores to do....so be prepared to get your hands dirty! The hens need to be fed and watered and the eggs need to be gathered. Make sure the troughs are full of water for the cattle and horses when they come to drink. Those adorable barn kittens will also need to be fed...and cuddled! We will be busy plowing in the fall, planting in the spring and bringing in the hay during the summer. A sleigh ride will await you in the winter.

Explore the Ottawa Valley while you are here. There is so much to see and do! Visit a museum, swim in one of the many lakes, explore the Bonnechere caves, purchase local produce at a farmer's market, golf on a beautiful course, play for the day at Logos Land or Storyland or attend a local festival or an old fashioned church supper. We are only an hour away from Ottawa.

Additional Bedroom Information

Dwyer's Farmhouse has 3 bedrooms. Two of them have a queen size beds and the third bedroom has two single beds. There is also a daybed in the summer kitchen that can be used in warmer months. Towels and linen are supplied.
