This storey and half cottage affectionately known as the "the Beach Shack" is a great place for a family cottage get-a-way. It has 3 bedrooms: ( 2 upstairs, and 1 on the main floor). which include 2 queens, 1 double and 1 single and there is a 4 pc.bathroom.

It is a minutes walk, only half a block, from the main beach. It is warmer and less windy than being at the water...great spot.

Don't forget to check out the world famous sunsets!

The Beach is Port Elgin is home to beautiful sunsets and a welcoming main beach with swings, and other playgrounds for kids to roam on. There are lots of fun outdoor activities in the area too, including bike/walking trails, sail boat rides, a train that goes around the beach area, mini-put, a live Sunday beach band show, and a Wednesday outdoor flea market...and much more!!!!

The livingroom has 2 couches, a lazy boy chair, TV with cable, a CD player, a DVD player, and a telephone. For you cottage chefs, there is a fully equipped kitchen with microwave, and BBQ on the new deck. The cottage has two "window shaker" A/C units to help cool things down in the summer.

Additional Rate Information

SUMMER 2013: $985/wk which covers the use of the cottage and most of its amenities.

NOT included in this rate, but available as add-ons are:
-Bed linens (sheets, comforters, pillows)---Cost $25/double bed and $15 for the single bed
-Large towels (only kitchen towels, and hand towels will be supplied)---Cost $15/set (each set consists of one beach towel, one large towel for showering, two facecloths)
-Fire wood is also an extra charge and will not be unlocked unless it has been paid for! ---Cost is $85 for the week
