Sunset Cove Resort, located in Sabaskong Bay on Lake of the Woods, is a small family owned and operated resort. We offer 6 modern housekeeping cabins each with a commanding view of the lake. Superb fishing, hunting and outdoor adventures await you, your family, friends and guests at Sunset Cove Resort. A beautiful view of the nighly sunsets over Lake of the Woods on our sand beach is just what the Dr. ordered!

Lake of the Woods 65,000 miles of shoreline, and it's, thousands of weedy bays, inlets, and submerged reefs is literally a fisherman's paradise for all species of the freshwater fish. Within reasonable distance from our docks, you will find excellent fishing for all species that inhabit Lake of the Woods. The much sought after walleye, trophy size muskellundge, tackle jarring smallmouth bass, and rod bending northern pike, slab size crappie and perch.

Spend a leisurely day exploring Sabaskong Bay in either a canoe or kayak. There is no better way to really get up close to the wildlife that abounds in our area. Beavers, deer,loons and other waterfowl. In a canoe or kayak you can literally get close for that photo of a lifetime. Watch Bald Eagles soaring overhead. Deer grasing along the shorelines and many other forest critters that inhabit our wilderness. When traversing via a canoe or kayak you never know what is around the next bend.

We have our own boat launch right at the resort to save you time and energy while on your vacation. We have a beautiful sand beach and an amazing spot to swim for the young to the "young at heart"!

Why spend the winter stuck inside when you can simply hop on your snowmobile and go to a resort that knows all about winter and winter fishing. Long noted for it's superb ice fishing for walleye, crappie, trout, and other species of freshwater fish, Sunset Cove Resort is now open for snowmobiliers and ice fishing enthusiasts. We have spent our entire lifetime in this area and know it well, plus we listen to what our guests have to say both in how the fishing IS and what they are looking for when it comes to a winter retreat. Snowmobiles and ice shacks are available for rent. We have our own ice road plowed out for our guests. Bait is readily available for you at our resort to make your stay more convenient and easy.

Individual Cottage Description

Our cabins are totally furnished including modern bathrooms

All Our Cabins Have:
Air conditioning, full kitchen with microwave, toaster, slow cooker, electric skillet Mr. Coffee Maker (we furnish the filters), gas stove and oven, refrigerator, dishes, cookware, utensils (we furnish dish soap), bathroom with all towels and bathroom tissue furnished, bedding linens, propane barbecue grill (we furnish propane), garbage bags, satellite t.v. with your own receiver and also free wi-fi throughout property. We also have setups for handicap.

Housekeeping cabin rates are based on double occupancy.
Hunting Rates: Prices on request.

American Plan: Your cabin is fully equipped just like the housekeeping plan, along with 3 all you can eat meals per day including dinner the night you arrive and breakfast the morning you depart. Breakfast and dinners are served in the Lodge Dining Room. Lunch is your choice of a box lunch or a Shore Lunch to have while you are fishing out on the lake or decide to come back and have it on our beach.

Your boat is fully equipped with flat floor, padded pedestal seats, storage, depth finder, live well, landing net, life jackets, trolling motor, full tank of gas per day, 40 or 50 HP - 4 stroke electric start motor.
