Welcome to A Fantastic Place

Thank you for your interest in our vacation homes. Although they are fully-equipped homes, the vacation getaways have a true country flavour. We are located in a quiet rural area away from the hectic city life. Beautiful landscapes, terrific river views, spectacular sunrises, as well as the birds singing help you forget your troubles and unwind.

Upon request, we do occasionally rent monthly, subject to availability. We are happy to go the extra mile to make you vacation relaxed and stress free, whether you are coming from as close as Ottawa, Toronto or Montreal, or are one of our U.S. or European guests. We have a growing clientele that visit us as often as two or three times per year-often for a week in the summer and a weekend or two during other months of the year. They love the homes, the area and our customer service.

The Johnson Riverlee Five-Bedroom Estate
A charming tree-lined entrance greets you as you enter the Johnson Riverlee Estate from County Road #2. The Adams family owned the residence for over 100 years. The majestic five-bedroom stone home was built in the early 1800s. It is situated on three acres of land and has a beautiful panoramic waterfront view. From the home you can observe the big ships just south of the off-shore island and from the shoreline you have a terrific view of the Ogdensburg/Prescott International bridge to the west.

Twin Oaks Four-Bedroom Waterfront Home
Although the four-bedroom home was built in 1999, we are always improving the home each year. Due to numerous requests from clients, we have installed a shower in the downstairs bathroom and constructed a wheelchair ramp. In 2010 we upgraded the light fixtures in the grand room, added a turn-around at the bottom of the driveway and put in a new walkway from the driveway to the home.

New Wexford Manor is a waterfront property located immediately east of the Prescott Golf, Course and only a few kilometres west of the interchange for Highways 416 and 401.

Waterfront Description & Nearby Activities

Nearby Upper Canada has one of the toughest local golf courses, as well as the famous historical site of Upper Canada Village. The Village preserves and presents buildings and our way of life from over a century ago. In December and early January, there are sleigh rides offered through the park. As an added bonus, all the buildings are lit up by Christmas lights! Each year they add more lights! A must!

The best local weekend buffet is at the Orchard restaurant in the town of Morrisburg a few kilometres away. The local theatre, the Upper Canada Playhouse has had some of the best local theatre over the last few years. The exterior of the building was recently painted depicting the local town over a 100 years ago. It is worth a stop! There are numerous other beautiful murals to view on a lazy day of summer, or a beautiful spring or fall afternoon.

For children, and adults too, it is recommended to visit the shipping locks in the town of Iroquois. These are the first locks east of Lake Ontario. You can see the big ships up close and personal. Iroquois is also home to yet another challenging golf club!

In Brockville, a major town approximately 20 minutes west, there is a theatre, ice rink, shopping, restaurants, and a multitude of summer and winter festivals. There is the famous Riverfest-a large outdoor summer festival that usually runs in late June and early July that features many local musicians and entertainment for all ages. There is also the Ribfest, highlighting some of the best pork ribs money can buy. The Buskers festival is always a hit with the kids! Automotion, an auto show, is usually scheduled in early August. In late August there is the famous Poker Run in the Brockville/Prescott marinas, a showcase of speedboats. Boys must have their toys, albeit noisy and polluting ones! Sunday-In-The-Park, is a weekly evening concert series in the summer. Please cross-reference this information with the official summer tour guide from Brockville.

The beds include a king size, queen size, double and two single beds as well as queen size Murphy bed, we will provide a crib upon request if available. Please check with us as per your requirements and what we have available. There is plenty of closet space.

APARTMENTS FOR RENT
All units have 2-5 appliances, starting with fridge and stove to dishwasher, washer and dryer. The 3 bedroom home and the large apartment offer all hardwood floors with either ceramic tile or linoleum in the kitchen and bathroom. There are no carpets.
