Property Description

Cottage 11:
Two and a half bedrooms (inside porch with futon bed). This property sleeps 10. There are 2 bedrooms - a full size double bed and a queen bed. There are also 3 full size futon beds (2 in the living room and 1 in the inside porch). Linens are not provided, but are available at a small fee if requested.

A great location just across the street from the blue waters and white sand of Balm Beach. The arcade, shops, variety store and restaurants within an easy on minute walk. This is a great location on Georgian Bay that is sometimes called the "mini" Wasaga Beach.

The kitchen has two table for a total seating of 10. There is a water cooler for drinking water provided. Air conditioning, newer appliances and a bathroom with full tub and shower provide comfort for you and your guests. There is a large screen TV in the open concept living - dining room space with cable TV and DVD and wireless internet.

The outside deck has a propane BBQ and table with chairs and an umbrella for enjoying outdoor meals. Call with further questions: 705-937-8700. We also rent in all seasons - snow and sun - and are open to short term leases in the fall and winter months.

Please no smoking inside our cottage. Its okay on the deck / outside areas.

Why Balm Beach?

Balm Beach has been a key activity centre on the shores of Tiny Township for more than a century. Local residents and tourists alike have long been attracted to the beautiful, clear, blue water and sandy beaches.

Over the years, additional commercial enterprises were established in the area including rental accommodations, a general store, the post office, restaurants and other recreational activities such as: the famous Georgian Grill and arcade, mini golf courses and a go cart track.

A small community of mainly seasonal dwellings grew around this centre which has provided many visitors with fond memories of summer fun with family and friends. The shallow water just off the beach provides a perfect wading area for children while deeper waters further offshore offer great swimming.

Waterfront Description & Nearby Activities

We are located in the heart of Balm Beach. Its 10 steps to the water from the front door of this cottage and you can see the water and beach from the living room of cottage 11. There are tennis courts at the back of our property, as well as a large park and baseball diamond to play on. Our large yard also lets children have fun and a place to run.

For Winter:
Snowmobile packages are available, ice fishing at the beach can be arranged as well, skiing and snow shoeing, we have tons of trailer parking, bring your own snowmobile or rent one through our partners at Diverse Rentals. Surf restaurant across the street is open thursday to sunday for a hot meal after all the winter fun. Convenience store and Roasted Cherry cafe open 7 days a week all winter! Come and enjoy!

For Summer:
Our cottages are family friendly, and the Georgian Grill and Arcade, Icecream, Beach store, Binghams Convenience store, and The Surf Restaurant are a 1 minute walk from our property. Go Karts and Mini-golf are a 3 minute drive, Sea do and Kayak rentals are a 5 minute walk on the beach. Beach volleyball on thursdays (speak to the Georgian grill to sign up).
