The Cottage is located in a private setting, relax on the oversized deck with clear railings for an unobstructed view of the magnificent sunsets and breath taking fall colours . Winterized, you can fish year round for small mouth bass, walleye, lake trout and perch. Curl up by the fireplace after a hike through the splendour of the fall colours or warm up after a day of ice fishing or snowmobiling. In the summertime all you need to bring are beach towels, food and you.The Cottage is conveniently located near local golf courses, marinas, ATV and snowmobile trails. There is always something to do if you get tired of swimming, fishing, lounging, reading, roasting marshmallows, watching movies, playing games ~Ladder Golf Tailgate, Water Bolo Toss, Beanbag Toss. It’s your holiday, you pick!

I had a wonderful time at your cottage this weekend. I have never been to a cottage as equipped as yours. The view in the backyard was awesome. The view was perfect for watching the sunset. Fishing off the dock was very entertaining. We caught many fishes. The bedrooms, the bathroom, the dock, the kitchen... everything was perfect. I just came got home from your cottage and I am already thinking about renting your cottage again next month =)

"Perfect"
My first thought on writing a review was NO WAY...I don't want to share this with anyone! Carolyn, you have thought of everything. Our family had such a fantastic time. I have to say it was the first time I came home from a cottage we have rented and was not glad to be home. The master bedroom felt like our own private suite and it was glorious to wake up every morning with such a magnificent lake view. The lake was gorgeous, swimming terrific, my 6 month old did not want to come out of the water! We truly had a fantastic time and you were a pleasure to deal with. Many thanks and hopefully we can still get in next year!! haha

Waterfront Description & Nearby Activities

The Cottage has 125 ft of sandy shoreline, with new dock. Great swimming, no weeds. Fish can be caught off the dock. There is lots to do in the area if you get tired of relaxing on the gorgeous oversized deck, swimming, fishing, and taking the row boat and pedal boat out. Bancroft is 17 km from The Cottage. There are scenic routes to wander and enjoy, summer theatre, museum, golfing, mineral collecting field trips, guided horseback tours, rentals available from local businesses boats, mountain bikes, water trampolines, wakeboards and much more. Did I mention great shopping? There are many lovely shops to visit, and of course the Kawartha Dairy.
