Listing Description

We have a three bedroom house that sits back from the lake. It features a 10 by 40 foot deck with table and chairs and a BBQ. There is a full kitchen, fridge, stove, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffeemaker and kettle. All dishes ,glasses, cutlery, pots and pans and utensils are provided. The living room has 2 couches and 2 loveseats, a wood stove a propane furnace, T.V., DVD and VCR .

The 3 bedrooms include 2 bedrooms with a queen size bed, and a third bedroom with a double bed with a single bunk above. All have dressers. The washroom is 4 piece. The house is private, quiet and ideal for small children as it back from the lake. Maximum of 7 people including children .
We have three 3 bedroom cottages overlooking the lake, with a nice sand beach. The cottages have been completely renovated i.e. new windows, doors, insulation, floor coverings, plumbing , wiring, ceilings, lighting and tongue and groove pine on the walls.

The cottages each have large 3 piece washrooms with shower stall. The kitchens are equipped with fridge stove, microwave, toaster, coffeemaker, kettle, dishes, glasses, cutlery and pots and pans and utensils. Also , cottage #4 is wheelchair accessible and has a dishwasher and a 40 foot deck overlooking the lake .

The livingrooms have a couch and chair and a propane fireplace for chilly nights. Each bedroom has a double bed and dresser. Each cottage has a BBQ and picnic tables are nearby on the beach. Each cottage has a maximum of 6 people including children .

For all units we provide a mattress cover, pillows, pillowcases, blanket and quilt. There are water coolers with spring water for drinking and cooking. You need to bring sheets, towels, washcloths, beach towels, personal toiletries and toilet paper and of course groceries.

Waterfront Description & Nearby Activities

The beach area has plenty of sand and sand toys for children. The shore water is shallow, with sandy bottom and weed free , i.e. safe for children. Guests can have the use of a canoe, kayak, and paddleboat and life jackets. There is a raft for older children and adults.

We have a very safe 16 foot rental boat with a 15 hp. motor that is available for rent. A boating licence is required . The rental boat must be reserved.

Shopping : Huntsville - Walmart, Metro, Price Choppers, Independent Grocer and liquour and beer stores. Lots of restaurants and shops are available for browsing.
Burk’s Falls – Value Mart, liquor/beer store, 2 restaurants, and shops.
Katrine – Our corner variety store is now open
