A Gorgeous lake front Log home just 4 km south of the beautiful boating resort town of Bayfield. This summer residence is located in a quiet community which is ideal for children and a quiet and relaxing holiday.
This log home dates back to the 1850s and was dismantled form the Kitchener/Waterloo area and reconstructed on Lake Huron in 1990 with all of the modern facilities. The main floor is an open concept incorporating the kitchen, dining and sitting area. There are 3 bedrooms, all equipped with a vanity with hot and cold water. The cottage has city water from the water plant at Grand Bend; as well as natural gas for the barbecue and the stone fireplace. Both sides of the cottage have large cedar decks. Enjoy an early morning coffee as the sun rises in the east, and a beautiful view of the sun setting in the evening, facing west. Renters may use our private tennis court and children's park which is outfitted with swings, slide, a horse shoe pit and basketball nets. The lake side deck has a large cedar table which seats 8; as well as the natural gas barbecue.

Waterfront Description & Nearby Activities

The private beach has some of the best beach conditions on Lake Huron between Grand Bend and Kincardine. The beach is nice and wide with plenty of sand. The water has a shallow entry and it is only a few steps to the sand bar or sand bottom. The cottage has a finished basement with a clothes washer and dryer.

Each of the three bedrooms has a vanity with a mirror and hot and cold water. A very nice European touch to the bed rooms. The sun room has a high quality, double sized pull-out couch.

Additional Rate Information

Please note that there is a minimum rental rate of $650.00, plus damage deposit. This fee allows for a stay of up to 3 nights. The price for cleaning is included in this fee.
A normal booking is for up to 8 people with a maximum of 6 adults. There will be a surcharge of $75 dollars per adult, for a total of up to 8 adults.
There is a $300 damage deposit required.

Cancellation Policy

A 50 % deposit is required on all bookings made two months prior to the rental date. The balance payment is required in full one month prior to the rental date. All other bookings require a payment in full at the time of the confirmed booking. Refunds are negotiable within two months of the rental date providing a suitable alternative renter may found, or otherwise agreed upon in writing.
