Property Description
Less than two hours from Toronto, this clean, fully-equipped family cottage offers location, value, comfort, and a genuine cottage experience.
A spacious deck with dining table and BBQ is the ideal spot for waterview dining.
The cottage has three bedrooms, an eat-in kitchen, a sunroom, and an entertainment centre.
Relax on the spacious waterfront lawns, watch the boaters go by and enjoy the view. And, with over a half acre of land and a spacious backyard (120‘x70’), there is plenty of space for kids to have fun. The back of the cottage is great for playing sports like volleyball, soccer, frisbee, and so on.
Waterfront Description & Nearby Activities
A boater’s paradise - Gloucester Pool connects to Port Severn and the Trent system locks and ultimately to Georgian Bay.
There are so many things to do:
Six Mile Lake National Park (beaches and biking)
Port Carlin (beautiful cozy little town)
Bala (Another small town that is very cute)
Midland (historical sites)
White falls (small falls for the kids to swim and jump off the bridge into the water)
The bike trails are hard to indicate since they don't have specific names so ask my parents when you get to the cottage.
Port Severn has a nice resort to have breakfast or dinner
The back of the cottage has several flat areas where you are free to play sports so if they like they should bring a volleyball or a soccer ball to play.
Fishing
Or - just sit and relax at this comfortable cottage with 150’ of waterfront, numerous shade trees on a half-acre lot, and a lovely view.
And, on rainy days, there is the 50” big screen TV, DVD, VCR, and stereo in the cozy living room; or, curl up with a book in the sunroom. This cottage has generous usable space for everyone and for every cottage activity.

An Great Place To Spend Time With Family And Friends
This cottage is great! Spent two weeks there on two different occasions during the summer and we couldn't have asked for anything better. A group of us went up there to celebrate a birthday and we had an amazing time! The location is perfect and the lake front is pretty much private which was certainly a plus. The kitchen, the bedrooms, the bathroom and the family room are all in a terrific condition. Also the cottage has a large area outdoors where we spent many nights having a good laugh and playing volleyball and soccer, it was great! We had such a great time that I had to bring my family up there as well, on a different occasion. There is a lot to do if you want to spend time with the family. We went on hikes, relaxed and the lake was great! My parents were impressed with the location and the cottage itself. My mom was beyond happy with the kitchen lol I can tell you that. The owners of the cottage were also very nice and so easy to deal and communicate with. Everyone was extremely impressed with this property and most certainly said would visit again. Overall had an amazing time and certainly would recommend it.
Great Place To Relax And Enjoy Nature At A Short Distance From Toronto
I spent a couple of weeks at this location and it offers everything you need for a comfortable stay with the family. The house is clean, functional and very welcoming. The fact that the property has an open space in the back was great for sports and activities. Loved the small lake in front. Low traffic of boats makes it safe for kids to swim and enjoy the water.
Definitely recommended for quick getaway from the big city. It's only 2 hours away from Toronto using only main highways. In addition, the owners are great and it was a pleasure to do business with them. I'll be back here for sure!
Good Location
It's not like the advertised description or photos. Beds & LR furniture uncomfortable. Ceiling Fan/Light & SAT TV in LR doen't work. Toilet rocks when you sit on it. Dock unsafe. Property not maintained, needs TLC.
