Our fully serviced Canada Select rated 4.5 star chalets have jacuzzis, corner showers, leather furniture, fully serviced kitchens and two bedrooms, as well as a pull-out leather queen size couch. Enjoy a wall-mounted flat-screen television with satellite service and a DVD player for relaxing during poor weather days. We also have wireless internet.

Outside you will find your own private deck and BBQ as well as an outdoor 6 person saltwater, self cleaning hot-tub situated on the banks of the Exploits River. Kick back in the evening by the riverside campfire and gaze at the moon and stars…there is no light pollution up here!

Location

We are conveniently located between Terra Nova National Park and Gross Morne National Park just 20 km west of Grand Falls-Windsor. For those of you from the East Coast, we are 420 km from St. John’s. Why drive another 2.5 hours to get to the west coast when you can stay in the best quality rental chalets in Newfoundland with excellent snowmobiling?

Your gas savings alone will cover a night in the chalet. From Corner Brook you can take the trail to the Gaff Topsails, head East and get here by snowmobile almost as fast as you can drive here by vehicle! We are right on the Trans Canada Trail. You can’t miss us!

Waterfront Description & Nearby Activities

The Exploits River, the largest & longest river in Newfoundland, offers a truly unforgettable rafting experience and provides a great way to enjoy the thrill of whitewater without being an expert paddler.

Open to singles, couples or groups, we offer whitewater rafting trips, and guided canoe trips down the mighty Exploits River. Our excursions embark 7 days a week, from early May until the end of October.

Our whitewater trips are suitable for ages 5+. Children under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

For the more adventurous, we also rent canoes, recreational kayaks, and one and two person sea kayaks, so you can plan your own adventure!

And for the winter time...

Central Newfoundland boasts some of the best riding on the island!

We offer two guided tours for our chalet customers, both of which feature a hot homemade lunch.

If you prefer a self-guided adventure, we are situated right on the Trans Canada Trail and have access to an endless network of backcountry roads and trails.

The Long Range Mountains, Gaff Topsails, Hodges Hill and Mount Peyton are all accessible right from your chalet door.

We also rent snowmobiles and snowshoes, and can help you plan your own winter adventure here in the heart of Central Newfoundland.

Additional Rate Information

From January 15 to April 15 all Friday and Saturday nights require a two-night minimum booking.
Holiday weekend nights are $289 and have a minimum two night booking. Pricing based on 4 people. Additional people are $20/person/night up to 6 people maximum. All pricing is subject to HST, and subject to change without notice.
