Welcome to Lazy Bear Cabins.

Our Bob’s Lake location offers you a great opportunity to be lazy.

Located in a small, quiet bay, our cabins are a great place to get away from it all.

Bring your sunscreen and enjoy the peace and quiet of the area by setting up in one of our Muskoka chairs by the water. Or, watch the kids as they splash and play in the clean waters off our dock or breakwall. Or, bring your boat (or rent one of ours) and tour the miles of shoreline.

For the fishermen (or women), the lake is loaded with great bass, walleye, pike, perch and the occasional lake trout.

Location

Lazy Bear Cabins is located at 303 Burns Road in Bedford Township in Eastern Ontario. An easy 1 hour drive from Ottawa or just 3 hours from Toronto make it a great destination without having to spend most of your vacation on the road. It is situated 30 kilometers west-southwest of the town of Perth and 45 km north of the City of Kingston.

The Area
The area around our cabins offers a great deal of things to keep you busy if lazy is not your style.

The 26m (85 feet) deep water with over 3,000 hectares (nearly 12 square miles) of surface space offers endless opportunities to explore the area whether you bring your own boat or rent one of ours. Several lodges on the lake offer a place to get something to eat or a special ice cream treat.

Several small towns in the area offer unique opportunities for shopping, meals or a place to get needed groceries. Both Verona and Westport are about 20 minutes away. If you’re looking for a larger area, Kingston is only 40 minutes away.

Individual Cottage Description

Cabin #1 is our largest with three bedrooms just steps from the water.

With 2 double beds, 1 bunk bed (single top, single bottom) and a pull-out couch, this cabin can sleep up to 8 people comfortably. Large windows offer great views of the bay and sunsets.

Cabin #2 is a cozy two bedroom cabin located just up from the waterfront.

This cabin has one bedroom with a double bed, another with a double over double bunk and a pull-out couch in the livingroom. It can easily accommodate 6 people comfortably.

Cabin #3 is a large 2 bedroom cabin set back amongst some trees to offer a little extra privacy.

The view of the lake from the large living room window is spectacular. With one double bed, a single/double bunk and a pull-out couch, this cabin is very comfortable for up to 7 people.

Boat rentals
Currently we have two boats with motors available for rent. Please contact us for more information if you are interested in a boat rental.
