It's hard to beat waking up after a nice relaxing sleep from breathing in all of that fresh oxygen provided by nature, then moseying on into a well appointed spacious kitchen, pouring that all important 1st cup of java & meander lazily down to the beach, then just.....relax! The cottage is located in Lafontane, which is only 1½ hrs from Toronto, 35 minutes from Barrie, 15 minutes from all the town shopping stores you could require. Heck, there are even nearby convenience stores, cafe, LCBO, and gourmet bakery with home-made mouth-watering butter-tarts, pies, DVD rentals, fresh organic local produce and gas for the car, right in Lafontane, which is 2 minutes away. Rented by the week or longer, book that well deserved holiday now and come and beat that heavy, hot, big city heat that we have been experiencing lately. Additional photos and info available. Remember this cottage is located right on Georgian Bay where the beach is on a sheltered warm, shallow lagoon which is safe and great for toddlers, kids and even the grand parents. Weekly rentals are Friday at 4:00 PM check-in to Friday at 11:00 AM check-out.

Waterfront Description & Nearby Activities

This waterfront cottage is located right on Georgian-Bay in Lafontane and the water is shallow with a low gentle entry. Perfect for toddlers, kids and even the grandparents. Close by is A.C. Marina which is located just around the bend from Beautiful Christian Island facing West towards Collingwood and the Blue Mountains. They also have a playground for the kids, washrooms, snack-bar, variety store, ice, & drinking water (705-533-2024.... http://www.penetang.com/acmarina/ ). Also if you want you can rent water toys from Diverse Rentals ( 705-533-0638 ....http:www.diverserentals.ca ). A bonus only less than 5 minutes away is access to fresh farm and organic food right in Lafontane proper where there is also a church, LCBO, gas station and variety stores. If bicycling is your thing there are lots of roads and trails to be found. Midland & Penetanguishene, where there is an abundance of stores and restaurants, is only a hop, skip & jump away.
