Families love to holiday at Papa John’s Place in Temagami because memories are made here that will last forever. Located beautifully on the gentle sloping shores of Herridge Lake, Temagami are 6 clean well maintained cottages. The Cottage Rentals consist of 1, 2, & 3 Bedrooms, a large furnished Living Room area, fully equipped Kitchens, Satellite TV, FiWi and 3 piece Bathrooms with lots of hot water.
For your outdoor comfort each Cottage has a Deck or Porch with Patio Chairs, propane BBQ and Picnic Table.
The Family park offers a Sandy Beach, a Diving Dock with Slide for lots of fun in the water. Horseshoes is always a great game with either the family or the park, it will show off your skills or lack of!! Interested in exploring the quiet waters of Herridge Lake and do a little fishing or just want to venture off for a sunny shore picnic, we have canoes, boats, pontoon boat and paddleboats available.
Cottager’s have a community campfire to gather around in the evenings for friendly conversations and the fish stories of the day. Roasting marshmallows, spidey dogs and lots of laughing is a great way to end the day for both kids and adults.
At water’s edge you will find large relaxing non crowded campsites with an unbelievable view!
We have 5 Hydro and Water sites available to make your stay comfortable and 4 Non Hydro sites for those who enjoy nature at its best. Each site has a private fire pit and picnic table.
The second most important item that interests a camper after he has found a great site is a clean washroom. Our campground washrooms are second to none!! Lots of hot water for showering and flush toilets.
Because of our limited Sites book early to avoid disappointment.
What does miles of pipeline, logging roads, breathing taking wildness have in common? You guessed it ATVing. This sport is so popular and we have the best place to do it!

Temagami

Close By...
Our small town Temagami, is only 7 minutes north of our park. The town provides a grocery store, LCBO, gas station, information centre, post office, restaurants, gift shops, outfitters and laundromat. Police station and ambulance service is out of Temagami but hospitals are in both North Bay and New Liskeard.

The Caribou Mountain Lookout Tower with its panoramic view is a must to climb while in Temagami. You will want to bring your camera for this! Also hike one of the trails through the old growth forests. You pick the trail that is best suited to your abilities from the beginner to the advanced hiker.

What better way to view the true northern beauty then a ride in a plane. Look into this while in Temagami.

Great Vacation Packages!
The Econo Package combines the Cottage with a Boat & Motor to give a competitive price. This Package also includes your First Tank of Gas, Adult Life Jackets, Safety Kits and a Map of the Lake. The Boats are 14ft Aluminium with a Floor or for those who like a little more comfort we have a Pontoon Boat.
Fishing Herridge Lake is an adventure in it self. Herridge Lake is approximately 4 kms with lots of bays, inlets, weed beds, rock cuts and shoals. The lake is 150 ft deep in some spots with a variety of fish, pickerel, pike,
lake trout, small mouth bass and whitefish.
Back Lake Fishing Package combines a Cottage, Boats & Motors and Fishing on 4 Remote Lakes. The Back Lake Fishing trip starts off on Herridge Lake with a guide and detailed maps. You will continue through the
amazing chain of lakes by walking a short portages. The scenery is beautiful and it's not unusual to catch a
glimpse of wildlife in its natural enviroment. Each lake offers a variety of fish, Pickerel, Pike, Lake Trout, Small Mouth Bass and Whitefish. At the end of the Package you will enjoy a Fish Fry served by the shore at the park.

Moose Hunting Package in WMU 40
Package #1 is offered in the first week of the moose hunt to a group of hunters who wish to hunt with our tag.
Included is 1 Adult Moose Tag, Fully Equipped Clean Housekeeping Log Cottage, Boats, Motors, Gas, PFD’s and Barges at your Disposal, Tree Stands in Remote Hunting Areas and an Experienced Guide with the Knowledge of the Area.
Package #2 is offered in the second week of the moose hunt to a group who want to hunt in our remote hunting
area with their own tag. Included is Fully Equipped Housekeeping Log Cottage, Boats, Gas, PFD’s, Barges at
your Disposal and Tree Stands in Remote Hunting Areas.
Package #3 is for the hunter who only requires a warm clean cottage and a hot shower at the end of the day.

Individual Cottage Description

Our 6 clean well maintained housekeeping cottages and campground is located on the quiet waters of Herridge Lake where the view is spectacular.These consist of 1, 2 & 3 bedrooms, a large furnished living room area, fully equipped kitchens and 3 piece bathrooms with an abundance of hot water. Linens, blankets and electric heat put the finishing touch on these dwellings. Our cottages have all the amenities of home, microwave, coffee perk, toaster, pots and pans, dishes and serving bowls. We supply toilet paper, coffee filters, dish soap, garbage bags and propane. We DO NOT supply tea towels, dish cloths or bath towels. For your outdoor comfort each cottage has a porch or deck with patio chairs, propane BBQ and a picnic table.
