Located on the North Channel of the French River, Moonlight Bay Cottages offers some of the best fishing around. With outstanding housekeeping cottage accommodations that let you to kickback and really enjoy yourself. These family friendly and private cottages conveys new meaning to “bringing the family together.”

Set back amongst majestic whispering pine trees, you will love the nine immaculately clean 1, 2 and 3 bedroom cottages. Each of them offers you a view of the river that will leave you breathless.

Fishing The French River

Numerous fish species abound to test your fishing skills. These beauties will give anyone from a beginner to an old pro angler an adventure. All found in the waters of the bountiful French River.

Go for the trophy sized fish! Pickerel, walleye, small and large mouth bass, muskie, lunge, northern pike and many varieties of pan fish are all there waiting for your chance to break your own record.

Lastly, we provide a screened in fish cleaning hut with running water for your convenience as well as freezer storage.

Individual Cottage Description

Our cottages are very modern with white pine finished interiors. Each cottage has a large screened-in porch, electrical heat and fully equipped kitchens. Three piece bathrooms give you all the comforts of home with the special kind of tranquility that only Moonlight Bay Cottages can provide.

For your convenience, all of our cottages are, supplied with linen and pillows. All you have to do is bring your favorite blankets and towels.

Our kitchens are equipped with modern appliances and are supplied with dishes, utensils, pots and pans, toasters, and a coffee perculator. Make cooking your record breaking daily catch that much easier.

Need more room? No problem. Our cottages also have a pull out sofa in the living room for extra sleeping space.
