Spend quality time with friends and family in this newly constructed, 3 bedroom waterfront cottage located close to Tobermory, at Eagle Point on the Lake Huron side of the Bruce Peninsula. The building has been crafted with attention to detail in masonry and wood with a cozy fireplace in the main living area. A unique center island divides the kitchen and living area and makes for a spectacular entertaining space. Enjoy the breathtaking views from the 2nd floor master suite and second bedroom and be lulled to sleep by the waves on the lake and the breeze passing through the cedars on the shore. Bathrooms are conveniently located on both levels. Pine flooring in most areas, accentuated by ceramic and marble tile in the bathrooms. The cottage boasts modern touches such as granite countertops in the kitchen and bathrooms which fuse with rustic pine woodwork throughout. The 0.80 acre, southerly facing lot is well treed and extremely private. The aspect allows for all day sunshine on the shoreline and decking and provides spectacular views of both sunrise and sunset. Outdoor space includes a wraparound deck and the recent addition of a 350 square foot main deck and new hot tub. Star gazing, sunsets and Lake Huron views from the hot tub are unparalleled!

WINTER USERS: The cottage is fully insulated and heated via forced air for four season comfort. The cottage and hot tub are offered year round and make a perfect base of operations for cross country skiing and snow shoeing in the national park. The hike to the Grotto to see the ice formations on Georgian Bay are not to be missed, similar ice formations accumulate in front of the cottage.

Waterfront Description & Nearby Activities

75 ft. Of South facing waterfront on the beautiful waters of Lake Huron. From the cottage, you walk past the sand box across safe, flat rocks to the minnow filled "tide" pools which are great attractions for children of all ages. The tide pools are a pleasant temperature as the shallow water is quickly warmed by the sun. Past the tide pools, the water drops off from 3 to 6 feet rapidly, allowing for excellent swimming with water shoes.

Additional Bedroom Information

This spacious cottage has 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms on 2 levels. The master bedroom has a beautiful king bed that looks out over the sparkling waters of Lake Huron. The remaining 2 bedrooms boast a queen bed and a bunkbed with a single on top and double on the bottom. The bathroom on the top level is a four piece bathroom with toilet, sink, shower and tub. The view is breathtaking from any of the three spacious bedrooms.

The cottage accommodates a maximum of 7 guests, maximum 4 adults unless adults are from the same family.

Amenities: Telephone and wireless Internet access. Sand Beach is a 10 minute drive to the wonderful Singing Sands beach, otherwise there is a sandbox beside the deck.

Fees & Deposits

Additional Rate Information

Minimum booking periods: 2nd week of June to 2nd week of September only full week rentals (Saturday to Saturday) are available. Outside of that period, minimum rental period is three nights.

The low season weekends consist of 3 nights (Fri, Sat, Sun or Thur, Fri, Sat) and exclude Victoria Day and Christmas holiday rentals. Low season three night bookings mid-week (excluding Fri, Sat or Sun) are available at a 10% discount.

50% of the rental fee is payable at booking. The remaining rental fee, Optional fees (below) and a $500 damage deposit are due 30 days prior to the start of the rental period.

Optional fees:

Hot tub: $150
An additional fee of $150 is charged for use of hot tub to cover heating, maintenance and cleaning costs. Renters may opt to exclude the hot tub from the rental agreement and avoid this fee. The hot tub fee is the same for all rentals regardless of duration.

Cleaning Service: $100
The cottage must be left clean at the end of the rental (cleaning supplies are provided) or pay the optional $100 fee and we will take care of the cleaning for you. You are still required to leave the cottage tidy, remove your garbage and clean the dishes and utensils in the kitchen.

Linen Service: $30 per room and include complete bedding and towels for 2 people.

The fees above include HST and are all inclusive. To avoid additional booking fees we strongly recommend booking directly with us via email or phone. Payment is made via e-transfer through your bank's online banking service. Instructions will be provided at booking and no additional fees apply. Payment can also be made by credit card via Paypal but a 2.9% booking fee is applied to Paypal payments (the rate charged by Paypal).

You may also use the BOOKIT feature (above) which will allow you to make payment via credit card without a Paypal account. Please note that Cottage Country applies a $30 service fee for using this service, in addition the 2.9% Paypal booking fee will be applied.
