Falcon's Lair Resort* is a small family resort with 5 modern 2 and 3 bedroom cottages. A mile off the beaten path, right on the lake, you will enjoy the tranquil setting of our fully equipped, spotlessly clean cottages and grounds. With nature at your doorstep you will see and hear many birds including the haunting call of the loon, and you could see chipmunks, squirrels, rabbits, partridge, deer, and on occasion moose or bear.

Our resort is open multiple seasons:

spring is good for bird watching and fishing
summer is popular for family gatherings, boating, fishing, swimming
fall is a photographer's dream and painters delight, with the vibrant colors of autumn

Falcon's Lair Resort is located on Jack's Lake and has 35 miles of picturesque shoreline for your boating or fishing enjoyment. Jack's Lake contains a variety of fish - Bass, Catfish, Crappies, Pan Fish, Pickerel (Walleye), and Pike.

Bring your own boat, rent a boat & motor or canoe. Fish from one of our many docks located around the resort.

Worms, boat & motor rentals, gas and oil are sold at the lodge.

Waterfront Description & Nearby Activities

Badminton, volleyball, croquet , bocci ball, children's playground, horseshoe pits, fire pits (wood provided), various books and games, paddle boats, swimming (from shore/rocks/docks, NO BEACH), water slide, high diving board, boating (boat rental or private boat dockage), fishing, common deck area for sunbathing/socializing at the central dock.

For those of you who like to explore or shop, within a 15 minute drive we have:

Farmers Market, Grocery Store, Trash & Treasure, Restaurants, Liquor & Beer Store, Post Offices, Hardware Stores, Credit Union, Bank Machines, Legion, Weekly Bingo, Service Stations, Nursing Station, and for your Sunday worship, Churches.

Falcon's Lair Resort is 1 hour south-west of North Bay. North Bay has the home of the Dionne Quints and the Chief Commanda cruise.

Individual Cottage Description

Come and enjoy a home away from home in our 5 spotlessly clean 2 or 3 bedroom cottages. Each cottage is located on or within very close proximity to the lake, but far enough away from each other to ensure your privacy.

For a spectacular view and privacy, our secluded "honeymoon" cottage (#5) is very popular.

All of our cottages offer:

3-piece bathroom: shower, flush toilets, hot and cold running water, TOWELS NOT SUPPLIED
Kitchen: full size frost free fridge, electric stove, microwave, coffee maker (filters provided), electric kettle, toaster, pots and pans, cooking utensils, dishes, cutlery, dish soap, DISH CLOTH AND TOWELS NOT SUPPLIED
Livingroom: fully carpeted, furnished, color TV, radio
Bedrooms: dresser, bed(s) with mattress pads, pillows, pillow protectors, blankets, comforters, BED SHEETS AND PILLOW CASES NOT SUPPLIED
Screened-in porch: beautiful view, table, chairs
Outside: picnic table, propane BBQ with utensils

Rates

Additional Rate Information

A $225.00 deposit per cottage per week is required on all reservations.
Deposits are non-refundable for any reason, and cannot be forwarded to another year. Payment for rentals is due upon arrival.
