Camp Dav Ed is located on pristine Lake Dubourne (also known locally as Lake of the Mountains) 15 minutes (7 miles) north of Blind River, Ontario. Blind River is a welcoming northern community of 3,600 situated roughly halve way between Sudbury and Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.

Fully furnished with television, DVD and stereo. Cellular service is available in the area. Kitchen is fully equipped with stove , refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, pots and pans, dishes and cutlery.

The living/dining room opens to a large sundeck at the front and screened porch at the side. Both provide excellent views of the lake and allow you to enjoy the great outdoors regardless of the weather or bugs.

Pets are welcome.
Dining, grocery shopping, liquor and beer stores, two pharmacies and a hospital are all located in town.
While in town, be sure to check out the "Championship" 18 hole golf course, the Logging Museum and Memorial, Marina and Boom Camp trails.
Explore the many biking and hiking trails or boat the many and varied waterways.

Waterfront Description & Nearby Activities

There is an excellent sand bottomed shoreline which is shallow for quite some distance before dropping off into deeper swimming water - very safe for children. There is also a dock on which to sunbath, drop a fishing line, enjoy a cool drink or just watch the beautiful sunsets. A fire pit is provided for campfires and marshmallow roasts.
Fish for Walleye, Lake Trout, White Fish, Bass and Pike or enjoy water sports in and on the crystal clear waters.
Patio and lawn furniture and a picnic table are provided for outdoor use.
A propane barbeque is available for outdoor cooking.

Additional Bedroom Information

There is room for two people on the double bed in the main floor bedroom. The kids or other guests can enjoy their privacy and own sleep space in the upstairs loft. There is a pull out sofa for two and two single beds upstairs. A safe and rather unique set of pull down stairs lead to the loft.
