A favorite evening past time at the campsites and rental units: you bring the marshmallows and hot dogs. We'll supply the firewood!

Wagon Rides - Many nights in the summer we pull the young and the young-at-heart around the park on a big haywagon.

And don't forget the kilometers of unspoiled shoreline right here for you to explore. Deer, fox, raccoons, and a large variety of birds can be seen all over our island county. Hiking and biking are favourite activities for the adventurous visitors to this area.

Waterfront Description & Nearby Activities

Bring Your own or rent one of ours. We have:
- Rowboats
- Canoes
- 6 HP. and 9.9 HP outboard motors
- 110 HP jet waterski boat fully equipped with skis, jackets and experienced driver/instructor

Also enjoy good FISHING for walleye, pike, bass, and panfish and great SWIMMING

Both parks have diving rafts, docks, safe swimming areas and gradual sloping dropoffs -- perfect for young children. The lake bottom is all sandy. West Lake is quite shallow and warms to about 80*F (27*C) for most of the summer.

Also, the beaches on West Lake have never been posted unsafe for swimming as happens occasionally on the Provincial Park's Lake Ontario Beaches.

Individual Cottage Description

Ll accommodations are fully equipped except for linens and towels. All units have colour T.V.'s, microwaves, gas bar-b-ques, and 2 picnic tables. All units have a DVD player and some have Satellite TV. Please bring your own sheets and pillow cases, and a radio, for the beach, if you like. We can supply linens and towels for a small fee.

We apologize for any inconvenience, but our resort cannot accept pets.
There are however kennels nearby ... call us for info.

At our SANDVIEW LOCATION enjoy the luxury of a kitchen, 3-4 pc Bathrooms and 2 bedrooms:
#1 'Lakeview' Cottage. A 4 bedroom 2 bathroom located right on the water!
#2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 9 are all Trailers.
The 'Cottager' #2 is 2 bedroom
The 'Sunroom Cottager' is a 3 bedroom
Also #8 the 'Sandscape Bungalow'

Additional Rate Information

The above rates are for the least expensive units. The weekly rates for larger units are a little higher.

In July and August we rent by the week only. After Aug 25th to Labour Day weekend, 3 or 4 nights is Ok but you must either arrive or depart on a Saturday.

In May, June, Late August, September and October you can rent for shorter stays.

Mid season Rates also apply Aug 18th to Sept 8th

Low Season Rates apply up to June 8th & Sept 9th to Oct 31st

We do have three units which rent year round!

To get an exact rate for a specific unit please go to our website www.SandbanksBeachResort.com, click on "CHECK AVAILABILITY" ... enter your arrival date and number of nights (remember ... Sat to Sat for 1 week only in July and August). Then click CHECK AVAILABILITY again and all units currently available will show. There are individual pictures and descriptions for each unit here too! Choose a unit to make a RESERVATION REQUEST and the price will come up along with a form to send to us with your information.
