Welcome to Pine Cliff Resort

Family owned and oriented, Pine Cliff Resort is conveniently located just a few short hours
from Toronto or Ottawa in beautiful Combermere, Ontario.

Twisting and meandering through Combermere flows the mighty Madawaska River. The Madawaska is 230km long and originates from Source Lake in the highlands of nearby Algonquin Park. The river's name is derived from a band in the Algonquin First Nation's known as "Matouweskarini" or "people of the shallows". In the late 1800's the river was used to transport lumber from forested areas surrounding the river at Kamaniskeg Lake. Beginning in the 1940's the river was used to generate hydroelectric power at nearby Bark Lake where our sister resort, Sunny Hill Resort, is also located.

Pine Cliff Resort offers the widest range of facilities of any resort around!

Outdoors you'll find shuffleboard, horseshoes and volleyball. Inside the Recreation Centre you'll find a pool table, ping pong tables and other games. Satellite television and wireless internet can be found there as well.
Pine Cliff Resort is also located very close (approximately 500m) to the OFSC Snowmobile Trail and has its own trail leading to the resort's front gate.

Camping at Pine Cliff Resort

Our campsites are available seasonally, from May to October, weekly or by the night.
Fully serviced sites (including electric, sewer and water) are available. A restroom with hot showers and flush toilets is open for campers as well as full use of all facilites.

Sites are large, level and some are shaded. All have a campfire pit, picnic table and 30 amp electric service. Tent & Trailer sites are also available.

Individual Cottage Description

Cottage Life at Pine Cliff Resort:

Pine Cliff Resort offers two, three and four bedroom cottages providing complete kitchen and sleeping facilities for groups of two to ten people.
All of our charming cottages are clean, comfortable and include a 3 or 4-piece bathroom. All you could ever need is supplied including bed linens, pillows and blankets, cooking utensils, small appliances, a microwave, electric fridge and stove. Our cottages are heated by either electricity or propane heating sources. Staying at Pine Cliff Resort also means that you don’t have to leave amenities at home such as satellite television and gas barbecues because all of our cottages are fully equipped and some even include fireplaces.

All cottages also include an outdoor campfire pit, picnic table and are also only a few steps to the water.

Our cottages are available year-round, however, during July and August they are only available on a weekly basis
