Manitoulin Island cottage rentals. If you're considering a holiday, then you are most likely after some rest & relaxation more than just about anything. Viva Villa (pronounced Vyva Villa) is the perfect surrounding to de-stress, put your feet up and relax in the midst of the natural splendor of Manitoulin Island.

To start with, all of our cottages are within 100 feet of the lake, our two largest are just off the shoreline.

The lake itself is approximately 72 square kilometers (30 square miles) and is fed directly by numerous spring sources, and it in turn feeds Lake Huron over a roaring waterfall just 3 miles down the road. Lake Kagawong is the second largest lake on Manitoulin Island.

We also have 2 private cottages located about 2 miles down the lake from Viva Villa. Their rates range from$700 a week and up.

Activities

Swimming, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, boating, biking, volleyball, badminton and mini-golf are just some of the things you can do right here, anytime you feel like it. Check out the activities page for more information. Manitoulin Island is one of the few locations in Ontario that does not have any black flies, so even spring-time here is pleasant outside.

Viva Villa is the perfect place to get away from the city. With pristine Lake Kagawong lapping at your doorway, the fresh air and abundant night-time stars, you'll never want to leave!

Most guests just want to relax and maybe do a bit of touring. Since we are centrally located on the Island, we are a perfect spot as a base for touring. If you are looking for a quiet spot to relax, far from any traffic, please contact me.

One of the most important aspects of an enjoyable vacation is having a nice place to hang your hat at the end of the day. To that end all of our cottages offer comfortable, hand-crafted furnishings, private decks with gas BBQ and breakfast nook, wood burning fireplaces, showers, satellite TV, deck chairs and picnic tables, fully equipped kitchens including coffee maker, microwave, fridge, stove and all cooking and dining ware. Your cottage will feel like a cottage, but it has all the amenities of home

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel a full refund will be given if I am notified by April1, 2012.
If you have to cancel after that date, a refund will be given if I am able to rebook your dates so the earlier you advise me, the better are the chances of a full refund.
