Loon Talk Cottage on Clear Lake” is a "LITTLE PIECE OF PARADISE" on the Trent Severn Waterway System in the Kawartha Lakes Region. It is a 1.5 hour drive from Toronto (20 minutes north of Peterborough or 10 minutes north of Lakefield).Loon Talk Cottage" is a non smoking cottage that is very clean, cozy and well taken care of. The front of the cottage consists of a great room (large kitchen, dining room & living room) with windows across the entire front creating a fantastic panoramic view of Clear Lake. The kitchen is newly renovated including granite countertops, new oak wine barrel glass kitchen table, with a solid oak plank floor. It comes complete with fridge, flat ceramic top stove, dishwasher, microwave, juicer, toaster, coffee maker, coffee bean grinder, pots & pans, and a butcher’s chopping block. The living room has a stone gas fireplace, sail boat shelving unit, new queen size pull out sofa, love seat, Bell Satellite TV, LCD-HDTV and DVD.

EXTERIOR DESCRIPTION

There is a nice beach for children that is shaded by a large maple tree. You can walk in from the beach for a swim or dive off of the large 36 ft dock into 10 ft. of water. The large flat front yard is great for kids to play and for parents to keep watch. There is an outdoor shower (enclosed) behind the cottage that is absolutely awesome!

Waterfront Description & Nearby Activities

It is well located with a private beach, southern exposure,on a flat piece of property that is great for children of all ages. It is private and has a large front yard for playing activities such as volleyball, badminton, croquet, catch, botchy ball, etc. There is a fire pit near the shoreline with a large cauldron (great for lobster or corn) for your use. The expansive 137.5’ of shoreline offers excellent swimming or you can dive off of the 36’ dock. A kayak and sail board (without sail) is also available for your use. Every Wednesday & Sunday, the sail boats are sailing and racing out front for your enjoyment.Clear Lake is excellent for bass, pickerel, perch, muskie & carp fishing. Many large fish have been caught right off of the dock. There is a 14’ 15 H.P. aluminum boat and/or a 120 H.P. 18' bowrider, pleasure and waterskiing boat that are available for a very reasonable rental rate.

Additional Bedroom Information

The 3 bedrooms (2 Queen & 1 double) have recently been completely renovated, finished with a white pickling stain and all have a ceiling fan for those warm summer evenings. The 3 bedrooms and the 4 piece bathroom are located across the back half of the cottage.

Additional Rate Information

High Season/Summer: $2500.00/wk.
Low Season (2 night minimum): $350.00/night or $1500.00/wk.

Summer rental rate is $2500.00/wk.
Off-season (Spring, Fall – 2 night min.) & (Winter – 3 night min.) rates are $1500.00/wk or $350.00/night.
Long Weekend & Holiday Season rental rate are $1800.00/wk or $350.00/night.
Guest Cabin/bunkie: $400.00/wk.
A 30% deposit is due to confirm rental dates at time of booking.
The outstanding balance and a $500.00 damage security deposit are due 28 days (4 weeks) prior to checking in.
