Thanet Lake is quiet (except for the Loons) and unspoiled. A buffer zone around the lake prohibits any development and provides a natural environment.
A small private beach, boat launching facilities and docks are a 5 minute walk from the cottage.
Beautiful prestine lake rated 5 of 5 by Ministry offers great swimming and fishing. The cottage is located a half hour from Bancroft with all amenities available (shopping, hospital etc.) or 10 minutes to Coe Hill for Beer/LCBO and groceries.

New queen sized beds with new top line pocket coil mattresses.The large kitchen, living and dining area has 4 sliding screened doors facing south that enter the screened in porch for great entertaining and enjoyment. From the concrete countertops, ceramics floors/wood floors matching appliances, dishwasher, laundry facilities, ceiling fans and much more the cottage is very nicely finished and furnished for luxury and cormfort. There is numerous heating sources (gas fireplace, electric fireplace, wood stove, and high efficiency furnance) for comfort during those cold winter vacations.
