Thank you for viewing our listing. We lost our original cottage in an arson & rebuilt a gorgeous custom 2009 Linwood home on our waterfront. It is 2500 sq. ft. (not including lower level) & everything is new. The main level has a huge Great Room that is open to the dining room, spacious deck and large fully equipped kitchen. There is a gas fireplace extends 21 ft. up, a 32" flat screen TV, DVD player, 4 couches and lots of space to relax & view the lake. The main level master bedroom has a king bed & ensuite bath (clawfoot tub, glass shower & huge vanity). Laundry, wireless internet & satellite are included. The upstairs loft has 2 bedrooms: one with a romantic queen bed & window seat & a second bunk room with a set of bunkbeds and 2 singles. There is a full bathroom upstairs. The lower level walks out to the lake, firepit & patio space. There are 2 bedrooms: One has a queen bed & other has a double. The rec room has a queen bed pullout. There is a full bathroom on this level.

Peak weekends $1000 for 2 nights, $1375 for 3 nights - additional discounts for additional nights.
Long holiday weekends $1500 for 3 nights minimum.
Off peak weekends - 2 nights for $800 - additional discounts may apply. Email to confirm.

No Party Policy. No fireworks.

Fall Weekend Away -
October 2012:
3 generations of the women in my family came together for a weekend in October to celebrate several “turning 50" this year at our first ever family girls’ weekend away. Our weekend at the Lakehouse was fantastic. Communication with Vij and Christy was top knotch, any questions I had while booking and prior to/during our stay were answered swiftly.
Friday was chilly, we stayed in, turned on the fire, played games and gossiped - but it warmed up for the balance of the weekend and we were out walking the roads and enjoyed a bonfire at the firepit while snacking on appetizers - the kitchen is fully stocked for all cooking purposes and we had the best beef tenderloin off of the bbq Saturday night.
You’ve provided every comfort, and the location is perfect - being on the lake was incredible. I woke up early Saturday morning and watched the mist on the water break as the sun rose with my coffee in hand.
Thank you both for opening your home to share with us. Everything you've done in decorating makes the cottage feel well loved and like home.
All the old biddies and our younger 3rd generation had a hoot (and so did I, even though I was forced to play charades Saturday night). Thank god for wine.

I Cannot Say Enough!!!!
I cannot say enough how much I enjoyed my stay at this beautiful cottage!!!! After planning this bi-annual ladies weekend for about 4 months, it was time for me relax and that is what I did. The rooms are fantastic, the view breathtaking, the surrounding area (docks, gardens, etc) nicely kept and my favourite spot, the firepit is in a perfect spot!!! It is like I was at home but better!!!! I will be coming back.
Amazing Cottage!!
Stay: May 10-13, 2012
My husband and I were looking to rent a cottage with 3 other couples and we fell upon this listing. We all looked at the pictures, read the description and said yes to this cottage. When we arrived Thurs afternoon, we were all shocked...the pictures didn't do it justice!! This wasn't a typical cottage...this was a home! It was beautifully decorated and everything was open concept, which we all loved!! Vij & Christy were amazing with responding back to emails/calls/texts whenever we had a problem (not that we did, just had to let them know I accidentally broke a wine glass). They also let myself and my sister to bring our small dogs! We all were in awe of how clean and spacious this cottage was and how COMFY the couches and beds were (a couple of our friends even said they had some of the best night sleeps at the cottage in a long time!). We'll definitely be coming back in Sept!!

Hi Christy & Vij, We'd like to thank you for a great vacation. We loved your place. We were 4 families (11 people). We enjoyed each other's company & everybody had their own private space to enjoy when they needed some quiet time. Decoration was marvelous & as a person very fond or everything looking artistic, I personally enjoyed every little detail. My 10 year old daughter had the time of her life, while she caught a fish every couple of minutes from the dock. I am not sure if she caught the same fish again and again or if there were really that many fish around :) Neighbours were very nice and having friends to play with was a bonus for her :) Firepit outside was great to have a warm conversation further sweetened with marshmallows. In short, we enjoyed every square inch of the property & hoping to be back soon. Last but not least, we want you to know that your great communication skills as owners is really appreciated. Beautiful - Perfect Vacation!
We rented this lakehouse in January with three couples and the pictures don't do this place justice. It is beautifully decorated, right on the lake, and had everything we needed for a winter getaway. Booking with Christy and Vij was simple and they gave us a lot of great information about cross country skiing in the area. We had a great time - and we will definitely be back.
