You can enjoy a quiet stay in a timber frame home overlooking beautiful Cumming Lake and Rock Candy Mountain. Hear the haunting calls of the loons as the sun settles over the horizon. From the highest peak from Rock Candy Mountain you can see Cumming, Tunnel and Axe Lake, as well as the wild forests below. It is truly something to behold! A short drive away you can see, the natural whirlpools at Snowshoe Creek, Pig Pen Chutes on the Mississagi River, Aubrey Falls, the Little White River and numerous other lakes. Nearby mixed forests are perfect for hiking and bird watching. You may even see animals such as foxes, bears, deer, beavers, muskrats, and or moose. It is an artists and photographers paradise!

Additional Bedroom Information
Large bedrooms - 3 on main level each with queen size beds one of the rooms has an additional single bed. The loft level has two bedrooms with each room having a double bed then the open loft area as a queen size bed. The master bedroom has a private ensuite bathroom. The rooms are large and spacious.

We Keep Coming Back, 10 Times Plus
Absolutely beautuiful! We enjoy all the featured amenities. What the description of the place does not tell you is the feeling of peace and relaxation you get after a couple of days at MountainView. The sounds of nature, looking at the camp fire at night, the aurora borealis ith its amazing colours. All these things can not truly be described in what impact they have on people.
We see other people coming back as we do year after year and we all share the same good feelings towards the place.
Great Area All Year Round!
I have had occasion to stay at Mountainview a number of times over the years and am always glad to return. I have found her rooms and sleeping arrangements most comfortable and a welcome respite at the end of the day. Her meals have been ever varied and professionally presented. Her knowledge of the local community and the surrounding area comes from many years of living in the area and close association with the people. I have found her to be flexible to my needs both as a hunter and a summer time visitor on holidays.
The setting for Mountainview B + B is exceptional. The view from her back deck is unique in any season and the evening sunset on the rocks in the background is well worth the trip. The availability of hunting, fishing, cross-country skiing, hiking, photography, and kayaking or canoeing continue to draw me back to some of the best hospitality and outdoor adventure I could imagine.

A Great Place For A Family Vacation
Our Family are repeat customers of Jane’s. We love the Lake for swimming and fishing, we never miss hiking the mountain or shopping at the local artisans and spending time at pigpen chutes with the kids. We never tire of visiting the area and will be returning in 2011 for our fifth time.
