Property Description

We are a deluxe year round cottage resort located on Halls Lake in the rugged beauty of the Haliburton Highlands, just 2.5 hours drive north of Toronto. Fifteen individual cottages, all of them equipped with basically all the amenities of home. Each cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, full size bathroom, 1,2, or 3 bedrooms featuring queen, double or single beds. All cottages have wood burning fireplaces (we supply the wood), satellite T.V., and BBQ’s on the sun decks.

In the summer Sandy Lane offers a children recreation program, beautiful sandy beach, all kinds of recreational activities at no extra charge.

Winter has a whole new world of things to do. On site Toboggan Run, Skating Rink, large and lit, direct access to endless land based snowmobile trails, plus our outdoor Hot Tub “under the stars”. Snow shoeing, cross country skiing & downhill skiing and sled dogs rides are nearby.

Welcome to Halls Lake. We have a beautiful large private sandy beach, crystal clear water, shallow walkout for 200 feet, and diving raft where the water drops off. Relax on the beach and have a breathtaking view of the lake and the hills of Haliburton Highlands. Canoes, kayaks, and pedal boats are provided for your use. Enjoy our other recreation activities around the resort including shuffleboard, horseshoes, basketball, ping pong, volleyball, badminton, and mountain biking. It’s your choice to sit and relax on the beach, on your private sundeck or around the campfire or partake in the many activities around the resort!

Individual Cottage Description

There are 4 different styles of cottages ranging from 400 to 900 square feet with there own private sundeck. Beds are queen, double and singles. Bathrooms are full size. All cottages have wood burning fireplaces, satellite TV, and DVD players.

All cottage styles are detached and completely self catering. Each has electric baseboard heating and air-conditioning. The kitchens are fully equipped with all cooking utensils, dishes and cutlery, full size stove, microwave, coffee maker and refrigerator. We supply all bedding and towels.
