This well-appointed three bedroom cottage is located on the Northumberland Strait overlooking Cape Breton and Nova Scotia. The white sand beach, part of the infamous 'Singing Sands', stretches for miles on either side of the cottage. Walking westward takes you to Little Harbour for sand dollars or walking east leads you to Basin Head. The warm, clean and clear waters are excellent for swimming, kayaking and snorkling. The beach access is as simple as walking across the lawn and down a set of stairs!

The cottage is equipped with all the amenities to help make your stay enjoyable. It is inspected yearly by the PEI Department of Tourism to ensure your comfort and safety. Whether curling up on the couch to read a book by the propane stove or sitting on the outdoor deck watching the seals and whales that frequent the area, we know you will be content and relaxed.

Cottage Rental Facilities

This well-appointed cottage contains 3 bedrooms and one 4 piece bathroom. The bed configuration is one queen bed, two single beds and one twin bunk beds. All linens are supplied including sheets, bath and beach towels. Soaps for personal use, kitchen and laundry are also included.

There are two additional buildings: a shed containing separate laundry facilities and storage and an outdoor screened porch containing additional dining and sitting areas and fridge. An second outdoor private shower allows you to gaze at the ocean while removing the sand and salt from a great day on the beach!

The kitchen is well-equipped for food preparation, cooking (including a propane BBQ on the covered porch) and clean-up (dishwhasher).
