Property Description
Beautiful water and forest views from the many windows and decks. Enjoy your morning coffee watching the fantastic sunrise and your evening cocktails with the beautiful sunsets. The decks provide great comfortable lounging to watch over the interesting boats cruising by or the swimming and fishing fun on the dock and beach. Lots of frog catching (and releasing) for the kids!
This cottage was custom built in 2005 and is a beautiful Timber log bungalow with 22' cathedral ceilings in the great room, accommodations for 13+. The multi-level decks let you follow the sun or shade and take in the sunrises and sunsets.
There is room for everyone and separate entertaining areas, a rec room with a ping pong table and air hockey in the walkout basement, televisions on both levels. The great room has a Panasonic Viera 50" Plasma with surround sound. A good variety of DVD movies supplied and Satellite TV too.

Three full bathrooms, 4 bedrooms and a loft.
The kitchen is especially nice and is extremely well equipped, just bring your own food and chef.
The fire pit is located on a granite hill overlooking the inlet.
Byng Inlet, Parry Sound & Sudbury
The area around Byng Inlet is home to some of the best freshwater fishing and most breathtaking landscapes in the world. This is a great place for angling, hunting, boating, and so much more. Byng Inlet is named for British Rear Admiral John Byng and today, Byng Inlet is classified as a "ghost town" in some popular books. A small town with small streets makes this a beautiful sight seeing visit. The old school house has been fixed up and is now a residence. It sits atop a small hill as you enter the town. The mill has some excellent ruins.
Parry Sound has the Stockey Centre for Performing Arts, the Bobby Orr Museum, Aircraft & Helicopter Tours, great tourist shopping and restaurants. Enjoy the 30,000 Island Cruise on beautiful Georgian Bay - this is a 'must do' if you have never boated on this beautiful part of Georgian Bay!
Sudbury is the home of Science North and Dynamic Earth - a great day excursion for the whole family. Great shopping, movie theatres and restaurants too!
Waterfront Description & Nearby Activities
Our shoreline is 120’ of beautiful sand, shallow for small children and drops off gradually to over 12 feet at the end of the dock so it is great for swimming and jumping/diving off the dock. The dock can handle boats up to 20 feet, excellent launch ramps at the local marinas.
The fishing is fantastic, a destination for muskie fisherman from all over the world. The bass and pike are plentiful, also pickerel (walleye).
Directly from the cottage you can hike or bike for miles and pick wild berries too. Lots of wildlife to spot, we even have many of the rare Five Lined Skinks - Ontario's only lizards!
Golf courses are also near by.
The cottage is just 45 minutes north of Parry Sound and one hour south of Sudbury.
On the north side of Byng Inlet is the town of Britt, a couple of minutes ride by boat or 25 minutes by car. Britt has marinas, grocery stores, LCBO, and excellent restaurants.

The cottage has 4 bedrooms and the loft, beds for 13 people.
The master bedroom has a queen size bed and a full ensuite.
The other 2 bedrooms on the main floor are directly across from the main bathroom. One has a double bed and the other has a set of bunk beds and a single bed.
The 4th bedroom is in the walkout basement, it has a king size bed and there is a full bathroom there as well. The loft has 2 queen size beds and an amazing view.
All beds have very good mattresses, cozy comforters and nice pillows.

Christmas and New Year's are popular rentals times so call early to book! This is a wonderful place to spend holidays with family and friends.
Off Season rates apply from Labor Day to beginning of summer.

Wow, this place is amazing. I can't believe the owners would ever rent it out!
The pictures don't do it justice. I'm used to cottages being well back from the water. This is right at the waters edge and the views are amazing!
If we are ever back to Canada again we'll have this at the top of our list for sure.
