We have 9 fully equipped cottages over looking Boshkung Lake on 11.5 acres of treed property. Spectacular Buttermilk Falls runs along the east side of our property. A fantastic sandy beach, wood fired hot tub on the beach, firepit, sand volleyball court, shuffle board, horseshoe pits, row boats, canoes, kayaks, paddle boats.

The Blue Spruce is a 2 bedroom cottage with a max occupancy of 5 people. Living room with TV and DVD, woodstove with glass door. Sofa is pull out. Kitchen with Dining table/chairs, Fridge, Stove, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, kettle, pots & pans, dishes & cutlery. Newly renovated Bathroom with shower. Large front deck with Patio furniture and barbeques. Hot & Cold well water. Woodstove with glass door and electric heating.

Seasonal Activities

There are plenty of year round activities available to guests at Buttermilk Falls Resort. We have some real benefits in our location right beside Buttermilk Falls. The Falls is beautiful to look at and photograph. The shallow water where the Falls meets the lake is popular for both kids and adults to explore. The Falls also attracts many fish species which come to the base of the falls to feed in the fresh clear water cascading into Boshkung Lake.

In the summer we have great fishing ... Bass, Lake Trout, Whitefish & Pan Fish can be caught right in front of the resort. We also have rental motor boats for those that want to venture further afield. Boshkung is also a great lake to explore with our complimentary canoes. The resort beach is clear sand that gently slopes into the lake. The kids will spend hours playing in the shallows and making sand castles. Just off the beach we have a water trampoline which is loads of fun for both kids and adults. Right beside the beach we have a wood fired hot tub tub which is one of three hot tubs on site.

The children's playground is a popular spot for the little ones and the horseshoe pit and shuffleboard court are popular with the bigger kids and adults. If you’re into some real exercise, there are regular volleyball games happening on most days. At night the campfire by the beach always draws a crowd. You can hike right from the resort. During the spring and fall, many guests bring their own ATV, rent an ATV or participate in group guided ATV safaris’ to explore the extensive trail system right in our backyard.

Winter brings plenty on outdoor fun with onsite snow shoeing, skating rink on the lake, and a tobogganing hill for the kids. Buttermilk Falls Resort is known for it's excellent ice fishing and our heated rental huts are located just off the resort property where the fish are usually biting. We provide bait service and everything you need to experience ice fishing in the comfort of your own ice hut.

Please note that we rent only by the week, SATURDAY to SATURDAY, during JULY and AUGUST.

Off Season Rates
10% discount on weekly rates June 15-30 and Sept 3-10.*
20% discount on weekly rates before June 15 and after September 10.*
*Some restrictions apply, long weekends excluded

Group Rate, Family Reunions Etc.
Resort Rental - Family Reunions, Groups, Weddings, etc.
2 Days Off Season : $4350.00 plus tax
2 Days Regular Season: $5400.00 plus tax

House Rules

Reservations and Deposits
Need to be accompanied by a 40% deposit. Balance is due at time of check-in. Rates are subject to applicable taxes. Rates are subject to change without notice.

Guests
One extra person is permitted in each cottage, additional adult cost of $35 per day or $150/week, children under 12 are $10/day and $60/week plus hst
Adherence to regulations regarding cottage capacity mandatory.

Cancellation Policy

TERMS, CONDITIONS AND CANCELLATION:
We strongly recommend that you not book if you anticipate having to cancel.

Deposits will only be refunded providing that we receive 30 days notice prior to check-in and if we are able to fill your vacancy.
A minimum cancellation fee of $150.00 will apply.
No refunds for cancellations made less than 30 days prior to arrival.
Summer Deposits (reservations during June 15-Sept 10) are nonrefundable after May 1st. Prior to May 1st deposits will be refunded less a $200.00 fee only if we are able to fill your vacancy.
Overnight/Additional guests must be registered by the registered guest and paid for at the office.
NO PETS ALLOWED in July and August.
ARRIVAL TIME 3pm (please call if arriving later). Check Out Time 10am during summer and 11am spring, fall & winter.
