House Rules
Deposit:
A reservation deposit of $500 is required upon making reservation
Final Payment:
The final payment of the remaining rental fee is due 90 days prior to occupancy. Once final payment has been made an e-mail confirmation will be sent to you.
Check in is anytime after 2 p.m.
Departure is by 10 a.m.
Reservations Made within 90 Days of Arrival require the full payment.
Method of Payment:
Visa, MasterCard, AMEX, Money Transfers or cheque
Cancellation Policy
In the event cancellation is required over 90 days before arrival $250 shall be retained from the $500 deposit. If cancellation is made between 30 days and 89 days before arrival 75% of the total rental fee will be retained. If cancellation is made 30 days before arrival the total rental fee will be retained, unless the property can be rented on the same terms.
In the event of late payment, or failure to pay we reserve the right to charge cancellation charges deducted from any monies already received and cancel the reservation.

What a wonderful week it has been at "Mahone Away from Home". We booked online and although the listing looked beautiful it does not reveal the true beauty, peacefulness and warmth that greets you upon arrival. We booked to be near family that have just moved back here and found this cottage to be perfect for our gatherings, lobster bakes, late night fires and early morning coffee chats. The added beauty of your town, the beaches, warm smiles from everyone we encountered was a bonus! All the kids enjoyed rolling down the grassy hill and collecting many sand dollars at "Sand Dollar Beach". We are departing with full intention of returning!

Our Stay In Mahone Bay August 2011
Your cottage was perfect. We had such an amazing time in Mahone Bay which was made all the better by our accommodations. The fire pit is straight out of a magazine! Great job. We enjoyed a few fires out there while enjoying the world class view.

Relaxing Retreat
My wife and I were there with our kids and had a great time. We spent hours taking in the view from the deck. The hot tub is on the deck and has one of the best views from a hot tub ever. We loved the town of Mahone Bay and Lunenburg and spent a day exploring the Annapolis Valley. There is so much to do here...but that hot tub on the deck was hard to leave. Thanks for a great week. We'll be back.
