Sea Parrot Ocean View Manor/Cottage

“Lovely place to stay”
Reviewed June 5, 2011 - NEW We had amassing time at Sea Parrot Ocean View Manor. We stayed in the Garden Suite for three nights. The room was very spacious and well-equipped with microwave, kettle and coffee pot. There were plenty of towels in the bathroom. We had bath robes to use for the hot tub. All property is so well maintained and equipped with so many things to make your stay memorable. Lonnie is a great host. Her breakfast was delicious. We had a real menu that could satisfy the choosiest taste. We also were very appreciative to our hosts for providing us with so much information about attractions and places to go. They had books, maps and booklets about Cabot Trail and Nova Scotia and generously shared them with us.

We would definitely recommend this lovely place with the friendliest hosts to everybody.

Stayed June 2011, traveled as a couple

Stayed at the Sea Parrot for 5 days as a base location . The location worked out great and the time spent just relaxing at the Sea Parrot was lovely. Breakfasts were excellent, and the hosts are super accommodating. Lonnie was a terrific help from the time of my first contact for reservations all the way through the visit. She also provided excellent directions to all the places we wanted to see; a great help and time saver. The ocean is your front yard and we had a good time watching the seals just off shore. The setting has many options to please different folks but we loved the peace and quiet. We booked the Sea Parrot based on good reviews, location and rates and were very pleased with the results. There are excellent photos of all accomodations on the Sea Parrot web site. Since I'm a frequent business traveler, I can be hard to please and I have no complaints about this business.

When we found Sea Parrot in August, 2010, we were in despair. A few minutes with Loni and Roy soon buoyed our spirits! Our family of 6 was soon nestled in the perfect spot for us in connecting rooms with kitchens, porches and a magnificent view of the Atlantic! They helped us in so many ways, always ensuring, and asking about our comfort, and if there was anything else we needed! They steered us towards the best attractions and tour operators around. Their knowledge of the island and their connections are superb. The spa was a real treat. The bonfire, fashioned and tended by Roy, was a super treat, especially under the full moon! We all cherished our time together there and hope to be able to return.
