A seaside 1870's historic vacation home in a quiet cove, yet conveniently located within 20 min. drive of the Trans Canada Highway and the town of Springdale and 11/2 hour drive from Deer Lake Airport. This traditional newfoundland salt box home is full of character and charm and offers all the modern conveniences. This is a 2 bedroom home and sleeps 5 people comfortably but can sleep up to 7. Large deck out the front by the waters edge with gas BBQ, patio set and muskoka chairs. Come enjoy the tranquility of this place in Coffee Cove and discover everything that Central Newfoundland has to offer ie. sightseeing, boat tours, whale watching, hiking, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, white water rafting, heritage sites, island tours, shore lunches and much more. This home is a seasonal unit available May long weekend til end of September. However our retreat offers an elegant 4 star, very private B&B suite in the main house which is available year round. Coming summer 2010 our retreat will offer a 4 star 3 storey lighthouse cabin for a unique holiday experience. This cabin will also be available year round. The only sounds breaking the morning stillness are the birds, the waves rolling on shore, the neighboring sheep baahing and the rooster crowing, if you are lucky enough to be up so early in the morning. This combined with the breathtaking views of the cove will have you wishing you could stay longer.

The valley and the hills are covered in an array of wild flowers right now...just when I thought it couldn't be more beautiful, mother nature surprises me again. Here are some of my favourite photos taken this summer. They are too beautiful not to share.

There are many exciting things to do in and around Coffe Cove and we also offer some activities right on site such as canoeing, private boat tours, long walks on the beach, digging for muscles, bonfires and muscle bakes, and of course plenty of space for just kicking back and relaxing and enjoying the view. Being centrally located puts us right in the heart of everything that the Dorset Trail, Exploits Valley Trail and Beothuck Trail have to offer, boat tours, whale watching, hiking, salmon fishing (in season), canoeing, kayaking, historic sites, heritage museums and of course breathtaking scenery.

By all means explore even further and see everything Central Newfoundland has to offer...the possibilities are endless. Take The Road To The Isles, The Road To The Shore, tour The Bay of Exploits and The South Coast...the list goes on and on!
