The Morgan family invites you to experience Beachwood Resort’s relaxed friendly atmosphere, beautiful lakeside setting and excellent cuisine in our licensed dining room. Located in the heart of the Kawartha Lakes, we are situated on 130 acres with 1400 ft of shoreline on Lower Buckhorn Lake. Beachwood has a variety of accommodations and great activities for all ages. Here at Beachwood you will find great fishing, heated outdoor pool, waterskiing/tubing, kayaks, canoes, pedal boats, summer kid’s program, tennis, playground, sandy beach, water trampoline, nature trails, pontoon & fishing boat rentals. Golfing, spas & horseback riding are close by. We cater to all types of guests: weddings, conferences, anglers, reunions, mini getaways & weekly vacations. We have one to three bedroom condos, two to four bedroom cottages and a main lodge with 12 Inn rooms.

Individual Cottage Description

Beachwood has a variety of accommodations. Main lodge rooms and suites which come with breakfast and dinner daily. These may be rented daily to weekly from May to October. Our traditional condos have one, two and three bedrooms with full kitchens, living rooms, 4 pc bath with patios or balconys overlooking the lake. The premium condos have one, two, three and four bedrooms with 1 bath per bedroom, open concept kitchens/living, dishwashers, beautiful views of the lake and large decks. Cottages are single detached lakeside units on 100 ft lots with private docks, campfire pits and decks. 2, 3 and 4 bedrooms with full kitchens and bathrooms. All accommodation comes with the use of all facilities, may come with flexible meal plans or without.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation/Refund Policy - A deposit is required (per unit) for all reservations and is to be considered as applying to the final days of the reservation. Deposit is refundable if advised 3o days prior to arrival. A $50 administration fee applies to all refunds.

No shows: Guests that fail to cancel or show up for their reservation, will be charged the full amount to the credit card on file.

While every attempt is be made to honour specific unit requests, we reserve the right to re-assign guests to accommodations of a comparable type at our discretion and without notice.

Smoking: Smoking is not allowed inside any of our rental units and buildings. If you choose to smoke inside your rental unit a $250 cleaning fee will be charged to the credit card on file.

Cleaning Charges: We allow a certain amount of time for the cleaning of each unit. Should we be required to clean your unit for longer than the time allotted, you will be charged for the additional cleaning.

Pets: We do love pets however we are a pet free resort. We would be happy to provide you with the names and telephone numbers of local kennels.

The Service Charge (staff gratuity) of 5% is automatically added to your rate. It is distributed evenly to all staff that serve you in any way. If you wish to leave additional gratuity to one or more staff members it is at your discretion.

Applicable taxes include HST of 13%
