Booker’s Clear Lake Cottages caters to families that look forward to escaping the hectic pace of their busy lives and who enjoy the simple pleasures that the Northern experience has to offer.

Just 15 minutes north of Huntsville, Clear Lake Cottages is an ideal family vacation resort for all four seasons. 400 feet of beautiful sand beach and shady beachfront deck are a source of pride and joy. There is plenty of room on our 11-acre property for relaxation and games.

Each cottage is supplied with Muskoka chairs, a picnic table and a campfire pit.

Spring And Fall ATV Riding

Autumn is the best time of year to vacation. The summer crowd has gone home and there are NO BUGS!! Vibrant colours and crisp air.

Our resort has hosted weddings, leadership training weekends, and family reunions. There is a community centre in our backyard available to rent for your event.

The long winter is finally over, time to get out and enjoy nature again.

Ride your ATV right from the front door of your cottage, 5 minutes down a back road and you are on the famous Seguin Trail. The Seguin Trail is an abandoned railway bed that runs about 60 miles from the village of Kearney to Parry Sound. The trail is very scenic and offers variety of terrain from mud holes to gravel trails along the way to make your excursion more interesting. You can also ride the many abandoned logging roads between Kearney and Algonquin Park. Come give us a try. You won’t be disappointed.

Waterfront Description & Nearby Activities

Guests will enjoy swimming at our safe sandy beach. The water at our beach is clean, fresh and weed free.

There is plenty of room to build sand castles and to sunbathe. Children will be delighted to play on our water trampoline and to swim out to our raft.

Summer activities available at our resort include badminton/volleyball court, horseshoe pits, fishing, boating and campfires. For families wishing program of activities for their children, day camps are available. Guests enjoy complimentary use of our kayaks, rowboats, canoes and paddleboat.
Guests are welcome to bring bicycles and sporting equipment.

Activities close include horseback riding, hiking trails, summer tubing hill, many golf courses, sight seeing and many shops and restaurants in Huntsville.

We have both two and three bedroom cottages available. All the cottages come equipped with a full kitchen, including cookware and many other amenities. Please see the amenities list and rates for more details.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy - Summer
The deposit received is non-refundable except in the event that we are able to rent the cottage out to another party for the same rate. If Bookers Cottages finds it necessary to offer a reduced rate to the new party in order to fill the cancellation, we will not refund the deposit. Refunds by credit card are subject to 10% s/c.

Winter Cancellation Policy:

The Customer has up until 6:00 pm seven (7) days previous to arrival date to cancel reservation with no charge incurred.

Booker’s Cottages will refund the deposit if the cancellation is completed by 6:00 pm seven (7) days before arrival date. This policy does not apply to reservations between Christmas and New Year’s Day, Family Day, Thanksgiving and Victoria Day Statutory holidays. Statutory holiday reservations require a guaranteed reservation. Refunds by credit card are subject to 10% s/c.

Spring / Fall Reservation / Cancellation Policy
We require 50% of the Spring/Fall total cost for deposit. The deposit received is non-refundable except in the event that we are able to rent the cottage out to another party for the same rate. If Bookers Cottages finds it necessary to offer a reduced rate to the new party we will not refund the deposit.

This cancellation policy does not apply to Victoria Day and Thanksgiving Long Weekend reservations. Statutory holiday reservations require a guaranteed reservation. Booker’s Cottages reserves the right to charge the credit card holder for the full amount of the reservation should the customer cancel or if they are a “no show.” In the event that Bookers Cottages is able to rent to another party, we will not hold the customer responsible for the balance owing.

Refunds for a deposit paid by a credit card are subject to 10% service charge.

We do not give discounts due to poor weather conditions, snowmobile or vehicle breakdowns or personal matters that may arise. Customer must assume responsibility for payment for the number of nights that they have reserved.
