Our two cedar log cottages are located right on the magnificent Bras d'Or Lake and are hidden from each other in a twelve acre wooded area to secure your privacy. They are fully equipped for your holiday (towels and linens also provided), with a nice kitchen and all the amenities, barbecue, living room, two bedrooms (1 queensize, the other 2 single beds), bathroom , veranda, electric heating. It's a proven favorite for honeymooners, but even a family of five can be housed, and all may enjoy the quiet retreat and the potential that the Bras d'Or Lake offers. Use our splendid beach to stretch out in the sun, have a swim, go snorkeling or fishing or just wander off collecting beach rocks.
Hidden on the same property where we live, you can also rent our spacious two-bedroom boathouse cottage, equally well equipped and located right on the sheltered inlet of the Bras d'Or Lake, and with a dock to launch a kayak or canoe and a beach to swim close by. (See picture). You can explore the various waterways and islands by kayak or canoe (we have a wide selection of kayaks & canoes, and we offer lessons and tours). You can also rent a bicycle, or hike in the woods and watch birds and pick berries or mushrooms. And there is more to discover.

Our area offers many other activities like golfing at the nearby Dundee Resort, diving, sailing or horseback riding. And the magnificent long sandy beach of Point Michaud or the French speaking fishing community of Isle Madame can be reached in 45 minute by car. Plan for a full day excursion to see the famous Cabot Trail and the historic Fortress of Louisbourg. The picturesque Town of St. Peters is just a 15 minutes drive away where you can do all your errands, visit museums or go hiking in the Provincial Battery Park which also features a campground right on the Ocean

The boathouse cottage features one bedroom with a kingzize bed ( European bedding) , the other bedroom 2 doublebeds. Each cottage also has a pulloutcouch in the livingroom.

Hide from the stress and leave your work behind? This property is such a place. Directly located at the lake in a peaceful surrounding of smooth hills and woods. The cottages are well equipped with all you need to make ones living in the nature with all the comfort. Just a small pathway and you are at the lake where you can swim, kayak or just stroll along for hours. In St. Peters you can get your daily needs and if you play golf you can find a driving ranch and a golf course close by. Nearby: Cape Breton Highlands Nat. Park, Fort. of Louisbourg or Iona. The host is very friendly and has a warm welcome for you and will help you with all your matters. He is an excellent kayak instructor and rents the equipment you need to enjoy a paddle tour. I never had moments in peace, silence and nature before at such a beautiful spot. My recommendation for outdoor lovers and people who want to live once in a cottage in the woods. A place of tranquility and rest, a place to get a deep breath!
