Our motel is open year-round. Have dinner and spend the night with us while taking in a breath-taking panoramic view of our own private bay and sandy beach.

Our motel, located in Thessalon, Ontario, Canada, offers 50 spacious rooms- all on ground level and with large picture windows facing the glorious sunsets and private sandy beach.

We also have a private meeting room available for business functions and family reunions, overlooking the bay.

Your Hostess, Susan Weigel is a highly acclaimed Chef, having worked under renowned chefs in Toronto.

The Weigel family was featured in the "London Free Press" on numerous occassions, as well as the "Hamilton Spectator", the "Lakeshore Advance", and "CBC Television and Radio", during their tenure at the "Bayview Dining Lounge" from 1987 to 2001. The "Bayview Dining Lounge" was also located on Lake Huron, between Grand Bend and Bayfield, Ontario.

A popular stop along the TransCanada Highway 17, our scenic licensed dining room overlooks our own private bay on Lake Huron and some of the most beautiful sunsets in the world.

Fishing
Fish for lake and river trout, pickerel, perch, bass, whitefish, salmon, sturgeon and smelts. Fish on Lake Huron or other inland lakes in the area. It is a perfect area in the winter for icefishing! We would be happy to set you up with a fishing guide!

Golfing
A nine-hole championship layout golf course is located only minutes from our facilities.

Boating
Explore Lake Huron and a multitude of beautiful lakes and islands. Explore our waterways in your canoe, sailboat, kayak, or motorboat.

Bird Watching
Watch the blue jays, hummingbirds and other birds on the lake. Nature abounds in the Thessalon area
