Sunny Birch Cottage Resort is the first and only four (4) season tourist cottage accommodation rental establishment in Sauble Beach and is Open All Year!

Our quality, modern cottages have a three (3) star rating given by Canada Select who inspects our cottages yearly. Canada Select is the only organization, approved by all Provincial Governments who can rate tourist establishments in their provinces.

Our Sauble Beach cottage rentals are located at the North end of Sauble Beach, a short walk to the shores of lake Huron near the Sauble river and Sauble falls. Sauble Beach is the First Beach in Bruce county and the Bruce peninsula to receive the Blue Flag status. Sauble is also known as the “Daytona of the North”.

CANOE/KAYAKING:
Follow the Streams, Rivers (Rankin River, Sauble River), Lakes (Boat Lake, Spry Lake, Issac Lake and Sky Lake), that have been used to discover "Our" Great Country. While paddling, visit the Historic sites on the way. The Jesuits Order used these Water ways to travel, to bring Religion and Trade with the Native people.

NATIVE TRIBES:
There are two Native Tribes in the area.
The Saugeen First Nations Natives (Southhampton) and The Cape Croker Chippewa’s of Nawash First Nation at Cape Croker. Each have their Annual POW WOW weekends.

FALLS:
There are several Falls within a 40 mile area.
Sauble Falls, Indian Falls, Inglis Falls, Eugenia Falls, Walter Falls, Hoggs Falls, and Jones Falls.

CAVES:
Lions Head - Gregg's Caves
Wiarton - Bruce Caves Conservation Area

CROSS COUNTRY SKIING:
SkiiersEnjoy the Winter months by staying fit while Cross County Skiing. Stay at Sunny Birch Cottage Resort, when skiing at the Sauble Cross Country Ski Club, a Non profit Corp. Their 15 Km. Nordic Ski Trail, is the BEST in South Western Ontario. Ski in Hepworth, (11 Km.) at the Saw Mill, a 10 Km. skate race and classic trail, operated by the Bruce Ski Club, or COME and enjoy the weekend for Ski Arama / Snow Arama. This has always been a well attended Event with 10th of Thousands of dollars being raised and pledged by the local area for a well deserving Organisation, “The “Easter Seals”.

1 Bedroom Cottage Unit
All Cottage units, are designed for easy housekeeping and ultimate quality living accommodations. Fully winterised with Electrical heating. The kitchen has a Coffee Maker, Microwave, and Toaster. The living room has a TV, DVD player and Radio. All units have Propane Barbeques, Lawn furniture and there are Fire pits located on the property. Beach Chairs and Beach Mats are available for rent.

2 Bedroom Cottage Unit
There is also a large Playground for children including; Basketball, Beach Volleyball / Badminton Court, Horseshoe Pits, Dartboard, Croquet and Bocce Ball and numerous board games. Ski from your door to a 20 Km. groomed Cross Country Ski Trail or Snowmobile on more than 500Km. of trails that can be accessed right from the property.

Reservations & Deposit: A $300 deposit is required at time of booking. Full payment to be received six (6) weeks prior to reservation date.

Booking weekly: Summer rentals - Saturday to Saturday.

Payment methods: Cash, Certified Cheques, Travel Cheques, American Express, Master card, Diner card, Visa

Damage/ Cleaning Deposit: The deposit will be refunded to you by mail, only after the Employees/Mngt. have checked / inspected the accommodation after the unit is vacated.
Deposit the amount of a fee of $ 400 is required.
The Facility is for REGISTERED GUESTS ONLY

Accommodations: Are ONLY for the number of persons booked per unit.

Parking: Two (2) cars per Rental unit.

No pets allowed

**Please Ask about our Off Season Rates. For Mid week or Weekends during the Off Season, a 2 night minimum booking is required. Off Season Long Weekends, a 3 night Minimum booking is required.

During July and August if you wish to inspect or check our facility and cottages, please visit between 10 am and 3 pm on Saturday ONLY.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation policy: Full refunds will be made if unit is re-rented.
