Newly constructed in 2005, Heron Cove was designed for gracious living. A large comfortable country kitchen opens onto a fully screened in porch providing easy indoor/outdoor living in summertime ocean breezes.

Delight in the large library or the spacious sunroom for a quiet retreat. The “Great Room,” overlooking the Northumberland Strait, is ideal for family projects and relaxation.

Point Prim is a perfect location for sunbathing and kayaking. At high tide the water is surprisingly warm for swimming and at low tide you can walk along the shore for miles while beach combing, clamming and birdwatching. Sunrise and sunset can be enjoyed from our beach. Bring your camera!

You are ideally located for day trips to the most popular areas of interest on the island and just 25 minutes from the provincial capital Charlottetown, where you will enjoy fine dining, great theater, and super nightlife.

The Beach house is a luxurious retreat for island visitors.

Activities And Attractions

Every travel destination has its list of things you must do. On Prince Edward Island, EXPLORE the great outdoors and then settle in for some of the best seafood in the country!

Running, walking, biking. There are 25 bicycle rental shops on the Island, and with good reason: cycling is a great way to get around. The highest elevation is 142 meters (465 feet) above sea level, with much of the land rising and falling in gentle slopes. Add the Confederation Trail with its 357 kilometres (221 miles) of flat, groomed surface and you have a biker's and hiker's dream. Canoeing, kayaking, fishing. The Island is surrounded by warm summer water. If you're not in the ocean, you'll want to be on it. (Did we mention snorkeling, swimming, seal watching or parasailing?)

Because of its irregular shape and many bays and inlets, Prince Edward Island has a long coastline. It has communities with unique flavour, and secret treasures tucked away and quietly awaiting discovery.

The beach house is located directly on the Northumberland Strait and provides some of the warmest swimming on the east coast. The beach is sand and sandstone with a gently sloping profile..very safe for children. At high tide there is very good swimming and the water is high enough for kayak or canoe launching. At low tide the shoreline reveals tidal pools for the avid beach comber. mussels, oysters and clams can be dug right along our shore!
