Wasaga Beach - A Great Destination

Wasaga Beach is a very popular four-season tourist destinations in Ontario situated on the Nottawasaga Bay at the sourthern end of Georgian Bay. Over 2,000,000 people visit the town every summer to stroll the beach, as well as to enjoy the many diverse activities that are available both in Wasaga Beach and in the area nearby. Wasaga Beach has the longest freshwater beach in the world with 14 kilometers of safe white sand beach on Georgian Bay. The waters are warm and clean with the Wasaga Beach Provincial Park having been awarded the prestigous "Blue Flag" designation for it's efforts to manage Wasaga's shoreline according to international environmental standards.

There are endless recreation trails for hiking, cycling, cross-country skiing and snowmobiling through sand dunes, or pine-oak forests.

For a change from the beach, try casting your rod in the Nottawasaga River for some great game fish. Fishing On My Time provides charters right from the docks at Edgewater Resort.

There's also sea-doo, canoe, kayak, boat and bike rentals available right on the Edgewater Cottages and Edgewater by the Bay properties, with some great routes nearby to explore.

For those who like to get out at night, Wasaga Beach at Beach Area 1 has a very active night life with nightclubs and many restaurants to try.

Stroll along the boardwalk , through the parkland or along the shores of the beach or tackle the more strenous Blueberry trails which can be accessed just 5 minutes away from Edgewater Cottages.

Edgewater By The Bay is a suite motel featuring one and two bedroom suites each with an equipped kitchen and a separate living room area. There is also a 3 bedroom house which sleeps up to 10 people.

Edgewater By the Bay consists of 10 suite units:
•3 bedroom house, sleeps 10 with 2 futons
•1 bedroom units, sleeps 4 with a futon
•2 bedroom units, sleeps 6 with a futon

#1 - Main house - 3 bedrooms
#1 will sleep 10 people. Bedroom #1 and #2 are each equipped with a double bed. Bedroom #3 has a set of bunk beds. The living room is equipped with 2 double pull-out futons. There is a full eat-in kitchen and a full bathroom including a tub with shower.

ONE AND TWO BEDROOM SUITES
One bedroom suites have a separate bedroom equipped with a double bed, a small living room with a double pull-out futon and a kitchenette. One bedroom suites will sleep 4 people.

Two bedroom suites have two bedrooms each equipped with a double bed, a small living room with a double pull-out futon and a kitchenette Two bedroom suites will sleep 6 people

Kitchenettes are equipped with a fridge, stove, microwave and coffeemaker. We provide the dishes, cutlery, pots and pans.

Cancellation Policy

Minimum notice of cancellation must be given 30 days prior to start of rental. Upon receiving the written(or e-mail) notification of cancellation, we will issue a credit voucher for the deposit amount paid, minus a $75.00 administration fee. The voucher will be valid at any of the four Edgewater locations, for up to 2 years from date of cancellation.

If there is less than 30 days notice given, there will be no refund issued.

There will be no refunds issued for Proms, Long Weekends, including Easter, May Long weekend, Canada Day Long weekend, August Civic Long weekend, Labour Day weekend, Thanksgiving weekend, over Christmas and New Years, or Special events weekends.
