A comfortable multi-family cottage with a westerly exposure and an excellent swimming area for children, on a 3 lake chain with 7 boats. Sleeps 12 in beds. 15 cedar Muskoka chairs on verandah and side deck, solar lights, 2 toilets.

The King Bed only includes linen. There are over 50 VCR tapes, and DVD Movies to entertain children and adults if desired.

The large 38 foot x 8 foot screened verandah enters from the living/dining area and is ideal in morning/evening or rainy days to assure Mom’s sanity with children. The barbecue deck off the verandah is the cool breezeway on really hot days, for afternoon “Happy Hours” with the firepit, picnic table, and comfortable benches and large extremely comfortable tree hammock (due to the long distance between the large trees) and a one end only horsehoe pit with horseshoes all very close by. Located on the opposite side of the cottage to the lakefront, is the small child play area with the cottage between it and the water for child safety sake. This area contains “Fort Reid” a log child play house, a large fiberglass hill slide, a large chain swing, all on top of a hill covered with 5 tandem loads of beach sand, for children playing with sand pails, etc. There is a basketball hoop on the tree and this is also a tremendous area for badminton. The adult supervisor has a picnic table to sit comfortably with a cooling drink, while the little ones enjoy themselves with Mom relaxing knowing kids are no where near the lake.

We also have a TyeDee Steel Bin to keep animals (including bears away)
to protect our renters and all family children going that extra mile.”

for every day of the week”. 12’ aluminum rowboat; 14’aluminum (can row)
deep & wide (takes up to a 30 HP outboard engine not supplied but
rentable from many local marinas);

16’ canoe; 9’ Pelican Zest (sit on) Kayak; 10’ Kayak (sit in);
5 person paddleboat; 18’6” “Crosswind” Tandem Sea Kayak.
Assortment of life jackets, oars, paddles, anchors, ropes,
under lock/key in Tall Hut building at bottom of stairs at dock.

Future Beach Surn’slide & Sea Doo Water Bouncer:
The trampoline had holes develop in the mounting platform the first year,
and we replaced it with the Future Beach Surfn’slide.
The manufacturer of the Seadoo water trampoline that winter replaced the
leaking mounting platform and it has been OK ever since, HOWEVER,
we will use the water trampoline UNTIL it develops further leaks, at which time
it will be removed (Replaced after 3td year with new one 2008
but it will be pulled if it too leaks.).

For nightly inside entertainment and boat instruction OPTION,
we include a 3 DVD instructional Course by the University Of
Sea Kayaking which demonstrate #1 Capsize Recoveries, #2 Rescue Procedure,
#3 Beyond The Cockpit (Derek Hutchinson who was the first person to
cross the North Sea in a single kayak (100 mile trip) and write the first
instructional book on sea kayaking, has designed 17 different kayaks, is a
senior coach for the British Canoe Union, and he shares techniques in this
3rd vieo from YEARS of experience.

Rental of all of the above from any local marina costs well over $1700-plus
weekly just in water craft but this is all included with the Reid family cottage.
