This nicely upgraded year round home is just steps from the Gimli beach, theatre and restaurants and harbour. There is a large deck attached to the rear of the house - perfect for summer evenings. If you have children you will love the play centers on the beach, in the school yard across the street, and at the Gimli Park.

Large drive and back yard can accommodate tent/camper or motor home and several cars. Garage can be used.

There are 3 bedrooms with closets. The main bedroom has a Double bed, the front bedroom has twin beds (2 singles) and the back bedroom can be used as a bedroom, storage or office. It has a trundle bed (2 singles).

The whole house was recently upgraded, freshly painted and refurnished including new appliances (fridge, stove, washer and dryer). There is a large separate garage.

Explore the history of the early fur trade at Lower Fort Garry NHS & early Scottish settlements along the Red River & Selkirk. Hear the stories of the Icelandic settlers that formed their own country, New Iceland, in the 1870's at Gimli, Riverton & Hecla Island.

The Interlake's vast region includes areas west along Hwy #6 to Steep Rock limestone cliffs and west to The Narrows of Lake Manitoba by Manitou Island. From waving wheat fields to boreal forests, with miles of sandy beaches to rocky shores at Hecla Island, our glorious sunrises & sunsets the Interlake is Nature's playground of Inland Oceans, Infinite Possibilities!

Main bedroom has 1 double bed, second bedroom has twin beds and third bedroom has a trundle bed. All beds .

Te cottage is cleaned spotlessly between rentals. Linens are provided and the decor is Pottery Barn. There is a play ground across the street and half a block away on the beach. A water play area by the pavillion. We have furniture available for young children. Crib, pack n play, high chair.

*MINIMUM 7 NIGHTS BOOKING, You can occupy the property for a shorter period but payment is required for the full week.
*100% DEPOSIT is required via paypal or email money transfer. Refund available up to 60 days before rental for 50%.
*Once you have booked dates I will forward you a lease.
*You must be 25 years of age or older to rent this property and have a valid drivers licence and credit card.
CHECK IN AND OUT IS FRIDAY TO FRIDAY. WE DO NOT RENT FOR LESS THAN A WEEK.
*Person responsible for payment must be present while other renters and guests are in the home. Guests must be disclosed at time of rental.
*Security deposit of $300 .
*Multi week and monthly discount available. Please contact owner.
*You can arrive at your leisure however rentals start and end on Fridays. Check in time is 4 pm Friday , check out time is 12 pm..

100% due upon booking. Refunding your security deposit is easiest if you use paypal. 50% refund eligible for cancellation prior to 60 days before check in. Please email for full contract.

Please book online. 7 DAY MINIMUM rental starting and ending on FRIDAYS. Discounts are avail for extended stays.

All persons must be disclosed at the time of rental and included on the lease.

The house and grounds are limited to 6 persons.

PETS: You must control your dog at all times and clean up and poop n scoop and this goes in the garbage! You are fully responsible for your dog. Pets should not be confined, you are liable for scratches on floors, and doors or other damages.

You will provide/use waterproof bedding if necessary and be responsible for mattress damage.

CLEANING: Thank you in advance for leaving the cottage clean as when you arrived. We use environmentally friendly products only. Prior to leaving all linens must be washed and left on dryer. (Do not use TIDE or any bounce or other dryer sheets, or perfumes, sprays, bug killer inside the house) please respect we are PERFUME FREE.

On checkout anything left will be disposed of. Security/Damage Deposit: $250/week (Refundable cheque payable immediately with this agreement. Reconciliation usually takes 4-6 weeks) . Fees, incidentals and extra cleaning charges will be deducted from your deposit.

Cleaning Fee: $150 minimum deducted from the security deposit if cottage is not left clean and tidy as when arrived.

Parking: (2-4 vehicles typically). You must book trailers or motorhome parking separately.

WASTE Disposal. Please check www.gimli.ca for further information.

BATHROOM /plumbing system: The plumbing system must be used properly. Basic rule: Do NOT PUT ANYTHING DOWN THE TOILET OTHER THAN THE NATURAL WASTE AND TOILET PAPER. No paper towels, No Kleenex, No sanitary products, No matches, NO Grease, NO Coffee grinds.

Cancellation Policy

60 days notice before arrival date is required to receive 50% refund. Damage deposit will be returned after departure. Should there be any damage or cleaning required it will be deducted from the Damage deposit.
