Ixworth is a haven of peace in nature. Just 20 minutes from downtown La Pocatière, the cottage was built near the Great River in the municipality of St. Onesime.

In the main building you will find the reception rooms and kitchen. The upper room, seating about 200 people, is furnished with sofas and antique furniture. A large natural stone fireplace gives a unique character to this room built of logs.

A second room at the bottom of the building can hold 50 people. There you will find various games (air hockey, Mississippi, and other games) and a lounge section with a flat screen TV, DVD player and many movies are made available to occupy both young and old.

For meals, three options are available to you. You can prepare your own meals using our fully equipped kitchen, bring in the caterer of your choice or simply use our catering service. We offer you, in addition to kitchen accessories, cutlery of high quality that can serve more than 200 people.

In addition to its charming scenery, the area offers an accommodation capacity of over fifty people. Ten bedrooms are furnished country style in a second building attached to the main hall.

Winter or summer, the scenery is beautiful. We have the advantage of being on a deer yard. It is not uncommon to see some peacefully walking in the yard. For nature lovers, you can walk the trails built in the forest. Follow the trail along the river St. Anne, after a few minutes you will arrive at the falls. Directly on the snowmobile and ATV trails.

For those who wish to remain in the area longer and have fun with family or friends, visit the tourist region of Lower St. Lawrence. There is lots of entertainment: museum, theater, bike paths, golf and nightclubs are just a few possible activities.

The rental price includes bedding, towels, firewood for the fireplace and the housekeeping service at the end of your stay. However, please leave the premises (rooms and kitchen) in an acceptable condition.

Activities

Summer activities include:
badminton, horseback riding, kayaking, ATV, boating, hiking, fishing, mountain climbing, mountain biking, hunting, golf and swimmint at the public beach.

Winter activities inlcude:
horseback riding, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, dogsledding, ATV, skating and cross-country skiing.
