exclusive use of your family or group. Alder Lodge rates start at $100/night for two people and our boat rates for the excellent Queen Charlotte fishing start at $950/day

Village Of Masset

Masset, northern gateway to Naikoon Park, western Mile 0 of Highway 16 is located at the northern end of Graham Island - the largest of the more than 150 islands that comprise the Queen Charlotte Islands or Haida Gwaii as affectionately called by locals.

The Village of Masset is a small fishing village in British Columbia. Famous celebrities and people from all over the world visit to enjoy the island for its pristine beauty. Masset is also known for its hiking trails and birdwatching. World renowned Haida artists also hail from Masset and Old Massett.

Masset is one of the three incorporated villages on the islands and has the largest population of approximately 1,000. Incorporated in 1961, the Village of Masset is the oldest and largest of the islands municipalities.

Your captain Bret Johnston has been fishing the North end of the Queen Charlotte Islands for 14 years and has been guiding for the past 12 years. Bret meets all the requirements of the Ministry of Transport to operate a passenger vessel. Bret spent 28 years in the Canadian Airforce and retired as a Warrant Officer. His excellent knowledge of the local waters and ability to find the fish will make your fishing trip very productive.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations Due To Weather
If sea conditions are considered to be unsafe by the captain, the vessel will not leave port and the cost of the charter will be refunded.
